Cool building, decent food, reasonable prices, friendly staff. Will definitely be back. Was a little quiet in the building. Atmosphere could be enhanced with some 50’s rock or something. Maybe some Buddy Holly, Eddie Cochran, and Gene Vincent.

Nice old fashioned ice cream shop that serves sundaes, ice cream (come or scoops) and regular food; we went for the ice cream and it was good;

This place is very amazing!

I was in Arlington to perform on a comedy show with my bestie Cheri Hardman and we drove even further north just to come here before heading back to Tacoma. And boy was I glad she suggested it.

First of all the decor and atmosphere are exactly what you want from a classic ice cream parlor. Everything from the red and white checked floors, the heart-backed chairs, to the lighting, were all the exact touches to set the tone. Then of course the staff, super friendly and helpful.

Now for the tastiest part… ice cream and food. That’s the way we ordered it too. Ice cream first so we didn’t run out of room.

There is a long case of every flavor of ice cream you could want at the counter, plus their full menu of sundaes and desserts to choose from. I of course had to go for the one with hot fudge and butterscotch in the same dish. While Cheri’s was a hot fudge and banana dish.

Once the main course was over (dessert) we got to our sandwiches. My club sandwich was great with the perfect fries on the side. Plus I stole one of Cheri’s onion rings just so I could tell you how great they are!

Drive out of your way to come here, you won’t be sorry.

PS I didn’t know Cheri was taking my picture while I snapped a pic for this review so you get a rare behind the scenes view.

After a disappointing experience at IHOP, we chose this place based on Google reviews—and we’re so glad we did. Both the food and the ice creams were incredibly delicious. The atmosphere was very pleasant, and the lady who took care of us was unbelievably kind and sweet. It truly turned our day around.

Fun place for the novelty! Not sure if it was just an off day or not, but we got chicken strips and they were so over cooked that the crust cracked rather than softly crunched. I feel like you can’t mess up chicken strips and somehow, it didn’t go well. Decided not to say anything because it was on off day for myself as well. Regardless, the ice cream and service was awesome and all the staff were pretty friendly. Can definitely tell it’s a great place for kiddos to enjoy. Weekdays are slower if you want it to be more quiet and chill.

It is a seat yourself kind of place but the staff will bring out menus to you. Then you pay at the counter when you’re done!

Love it! Hubby and my belly bump loved the simple pregnancy-friendly food! I loved how I was eating “greasy foods” but there was barely any grease! I have no acid reflux after having the fried items! Also very lovely prices for 2 basket meals, and 3 desserts! It was all under a hundred dollars!

I will say again, definitely pregnancy-friendly for those who like fried foods! I’m 26 wks along and have been having acid reflux like crazy. Not once did I get it eating their yummy sugary ice creams or their food!

A rare gem. The fam and I checked Google for sit down dining and saw these guys had a huge ice cream menu. They embrace their past and even kept their original menu up for viewing. It’s fun to take in the ambience while waiting for food. When we got there it was busy (Saturday), and we got one of the only two spots left. The ladies that were working that day were happy, kind, and helpful. The burger I ordered was simple but hit the spot in the best way. The sandwich/burger menu is also huge. The prices are comparable. We look forward to our next visit.

We went in there on a weekend and it was so busy there was nowhere to sit, so we were basically turned away. We were in the area again so stopped by and had a chicken sandwich and my friend had a burger. The chicken sandwich was good but the ice cream was incredible. Kona Coffee flavor for the win
