I love this Kava Bar. The local owner is wonderful. Even though I’m so into to Kava or Elixir, they have great espresso drinks. I’m particularly fond of the their lattes, and locally produced Kombucha, but they also do various teas and such.
They also have lots of events like trivia night, occasional live music, and games.

Some of the best coffee I’ve ever had and I am a coffee fanatic! The housemade syrups are flawless and not overbearing like a lot of places. Amazing friendly service and cozy seating. I cant wait to go back! I really wish I found this place sooner!!

Good vibes and good kava/coffee. They have a lot of drink specials/discounts that they post on instagram. Owners and workers have all been friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming. They also host social events and partner with nearby organizations. Those running the business are doing a great job. I’m so glad we have a kava spot near OU now!

I’ve been here a few times now, and each experience has been lovely. I’ve had several kava drinks, all of which have been delicious. As someone new to kava, the owners were super informative and knowledgeable about their products. The espresso and coffee drinks I’ve tried have also been incredible. There are drinks for everyone here, and all of them are reasonably priced! I love that they’re bringing something new to Athens. That being said, the true beauty of this place is the intentionality of the owners. Not only are they incredibly personable, but they’re really trying to build an awesome space for the community to gather.
From game nights, to craft classes, to a chess club, to open mics, and more; I want to commend the owners not only running an awesome new business but building a community. It’s so refreshing to see.

We had a wonderful experience at Big Run, we each had a different flavor with a energy elixir and almost immediately noticed a difference. We can’t wait to try the relax elixir too. We will be regulars I’m sure! Shaylee and Brandon the owners were great!

Best coffee in all of Athens, hands down. The atmosphere is also amazing and is my favorite place to hunker down and study for a few hours. Shay, one of the owners, is one of the sweetest people I have ever met and always remembers things about me and makes sure to foster genuine friendships with her customers. 10/10 you definitely should stop in and try them out!
