I live in North East Ohio… its nothing for us to drive 6 hours to go to Big R’s… we have been going there for some years now… and each time we go… its always the same great food… friendly staff… and great food,… its our normal stop driving South.. or just to get away for a day or so… ROAD TRIP………….see you guys soon….

Best ribs in town. They were perfectly cook and had a lot of meat on them. Great atmosphere. Service was excellent and we were surprised when we got the bill, pleasantly. For our food and drinks, it would have been 30% higher at a name brand establishment. We will be back the next time we are in the area.

We went the first time 5/2/20 and service was good – they brought order to car which was nice. Seem very organized and got the order right with the extra sauces. Prices fair, bit I feel like the beans are from cans as are the Italian style flat green beans. Not worth the money if you are using canned sides. Make something people will remember. I wasn’t a fan of those. They were out of Mac and cheese at 5:30 pm so we were disappointed and the choices from there were eh. We got the half slabs of rod and thought they were baby back but they were not. Huge amount of ribs if you want quantity over quality. Not a fan and my husband and I have eaten a lot of ribs. Sauce was eh. Not our thing, probably wont be back unless we want to try their homemade hamburger.

Great atmosphere, great service, great BBQ. We’ve been here too many times to count and have never been disappointed. The food is consistently delicious. I can personally recommend anything brisket, the chicken wings, fried mushrooms, the smoked chicken wrap, and the fried cod. Seriously, there’s nothing bad about this place!

Great, friendly service with smiles and southern accents! Brisket was a tad dry, but I mentioned it and they brought me more tender slices without question and sincere apology. Try the peanut butter pie– so rich and so yummy!

My fiance comes here quiet often as it’s his favorite bbq joint and we’ve never had a problem until today. The girl (looked like a teenager) that took our order was very rude on the phone both times we called and she was clearly the one who brought the food out to the car and she had an attitude from hell and basically tossed the food through the window. Just not good customer service at all, which is not typical from our normal service.

Just ordered half rack of baby back ribs. OMG so good tender great taste. The price was good for the 12 bone half slab. Quite impressed. Me n the kids will be going here to eat very soon and try other things. Had to make sure the ribs was on point.

This is by far the best BBQ in KY. We occasionally drive half an how to get there and it is definitely well worth it. Sides are awesome, chicken strips are the bomb, and the brisket is to die for. Just make sure to smother it in there bbq for a real juicy sand which. You will not be disappointed.L

Retro atmosphere, very good bbq, friendly service, and reasonably priced. An unbeatable combination. The brisket was exceptional (the thickness of the bark was amazing). The sweet potato casserole was mouthwatering-dessert like). Trying the ribs on the next visit.
