Love coming here when I visit home. The sushi is always so fresh. The bowls are good portions and very warm and filling. The service is great too. Really decently priced too, we got appetizers, drink and mains for 2 people and the total was only $50.

Oh my goodness! This place is a wonderful.gem in Campbell River. The staff are just brilliant, with food that rocks. They play old rock and roll and love our furry family members. They have a puppy play area and dog dog-friendly seating area on the patio. We enjoyed everything about this place!

Came here for my boyfriend’s birthday dinner and it was better than we could have imagined. Not only was the food absolutely phenomenal but the service was incredible. Our server overheard it was my boyfriend’s birthday and brought us out a piece of cake with a candle without even asking. She was absolutely wonderful, so kind, and so fun to talk to. The food was the best thing I’ve had all trip. If you are ever in the area, you must try it out!

Wow! ! What a pleasure to find such quality food in a roadside restaurant in Campbell River. Never have I ever had such tasty tender gyoza, such flavourful miso or sunimono salad! The service was excellent for such a casual dining experience. Family friendly and priced well.

Had amazing fish and chips. While visiting, I watched the chef make fresh sushi, and I must say it looked amazing. I will be back to try the sushi! The staff was amazing and attentive. Fresh food, happy taste buds! A must stop!!

Wow. New favourite burger in Campbell River, great fries too. Nice and crispy.
I’ve been putting off eating here for a while because the place is never busy. It’s in a great location so I don’t understand why people don’t eat here.
Anyway, I decided to give it a try and was pleasantly surprised. The sushi rolls are a little small for the price but still delicious.
I can’t wait to try something else on the menu but it will be hard not to order the burger again

I was expecting your typical pub but was pleasantly surprised to find a menu with many Asian specialties including sushi. I ordered the Singaporean noodles a delicious coconut curry like soup with prawns, it was out of this world. The service is great and the wait staff has a wonderful sense of humour. Will go back.

As far as local restaurants go this place had great food for a modest price.
Dishes were mostly between $15 – $23 and both my dish and my wife’s were perfect portion sizes (she had a little bit she took home, but I eat more so mine was all finished).
The quality of the food was great and the taste was amazing as well. Service was also awesome as the server made sure we had what we needed and was friendly.

I went for lunch with my family for the first time. My mom and sister who live in Campbell River had never been, and myself from Edmonton, obviously had never gone. The atmosphere was nice, the restaurant itself very clean. Service was good, very friendly and comfortable.
The food was amazing. I had the pulled beef and the flavors were so, so, good. They both had the burger, was told also equally good. Fries were super crispy, cooked to perfection. Portion sizes were considerate. Overall experience was really good. Would definitely return upon my next trip back to Campbell River. I would highly recommend trying this quality little spot. It’s a gem! Thanks Big Rock Garage for the amazing food and service!!!
