4 of us stopped in for dinner. Curt, our server, took good care of us. My brother and I had the Jalapeño Burger. It was excellent. Nice char on the outside and tender and juicy on the inside. The Jalapeños ranch sauce was a little lacking and the small dollop was hidden under the melted cheese. I would have preferred more of it, and spread on the bun for a bit of flavor in each bite…which I did with the onion ring dipping sauce. Others at the table had the Club (good choice) and the Hot Beef sammy (very good). Beers delicious as always. Tried our hand at the pickle cards (pull tabs), but no luck.

Tbh we had a bad experience and had avoided eating here for a long time. I was pleasantly surprised. We were seated fairly quick. Our waiter was pleasant, and on top of drinks and making sure we had what we needed. The food was great. I expected the onion rings to be greasy. They were fresh, crispy and good. Not heavy with grease at all. We will be going back.

Unfortunately for every business it is hard times right now being it business or finding good help. We all would love to have back pre-BS COVID. Bid Red Keno I know always strive to be there best, and I appreciate them. They work very hard to make everyone happy, and I think they do a great job at this. We sat at a booth. Love their taco salad and cold beer. Our waitress checked on how we were doing frequently. Better than someone dropping down the food and then not returning until it’s time for the check.

We were in the Norfolk location yesterday…Sunday May 25th about 6:30 PM. We were seated quickly and waited on. Order was taken and our cheese curds came fairly quickly. However, that’s where things got ugly. We got our entrees. My chicken strips were way over-cooked, dry and tasteless. I spent most of my time peeling the breading off (hoping to find the “juicy” chicken–I never did). The veggie medly with it was tasteless. My husband got hot beef sandwich. He said the meat on the sandwich tasted soapy…yeah! My other family member had a taco salad. She didn’t even eat 1/2 of it. This is my second time to visit your restaurant. First time was probably 8 months ago. I had hoped your cooks had improved but obviously not. It was actually worse that the first time. If you only want to be a bar and gambling house don’t put food on the menu.
