We were travelling around the Mid-West on holiday from the UK. Came across this place by the lake and it was lovely. Friendly service, loads of food and a great view of the lake. Off the beaten track, but that’s what we look for.

Waited over an hour for my to go order. Finally got the pizza which was not what I ordered. my boyfriends “paradise” burger and onion rings were old and soggy. Literally looks like trash.

Pizza was incredible; a recipe you’d expect from a bigger city or town… Our bartender Megan was lively, enjoyable to converse with and mutually entertaining… I liked the porch and openness of the dining room as well… Would like to see it in full swing in the summer… I met the owner; her husband was on vacation but she was reasonably cautious of strangers yet friendly and inviting… I hope they enjoy many memorable and profitable years ahead of them

My class had our 5 year reunion here a few years ago and our experience here was absolutely horrible. We called a month ahead and they had our table ready for us but they didn’t plan ahead for us. The service was horrible and the server acted annoyed that we were even there. My husband and his friends decided to play pull tabs and they deliberately didn’t cross off winnings until quite some time later so we were a bit upset about how that was run. I’ve never experienced that and usually winnings are crossed off right away so everyone understands what’s left in the pot. When we brought up a few issues with service, food and pull tabs the woman owner was so incredibly rude and did not handle anything respectfully. I was incredibly bummed after hearing from other locals this place was great. Unfortunately this experience I will always remember. I recommend going elsewhere for a night out of food and drinks. Spend 200 on a tab and night out to be treated horribly and not even receive a decent meal.

This restaurant is located at an older resort on a lake. It is surrounded by campers and can be hard to find a parking spot. The outdoor patio is excellent as it looks over the lake and boat docking area. The inside is getting run down but is okay. Does have nice big windows looking outside. We went with a group of 10 at 6pm on a Thursday and got right in which was great.
Our family of 5 paid about $120 including tip for dinner plus 4 beers. The pizza was really good, chicken tenders were not good-they were similar to chicken nuggets with sauce drizzled on them. Chicken sandwich was cold and rubbery, but the onion rings were really good! Beers were cold. I would go back for a couple of drinks on the deck and a pizza, but not for a full meal as I didn’t feel it was worth the money.

Came to the lodge today as first timers. The deck was amazing! Only Stephanie the bartender was working. She killed it. She recommended us the Curt Pizza which was the best pizza we have ever had. The crust is light and fluffy along with a garlic butter sauce. We had drinks always full even tho she had 5 other tables by herself. We will be recommending and coming back.
