Met the owner, Mai, of this Kapaa restaurant and is from Thailand. She’s the friendliest person for meeting for the first time! Ordered the “My cheat day”, braised pork belly (Mai’s favorite), marinated pork fried rice, crab Rangoon, fried chicken and spider roll (softshell crab)!! Bring your own liquor (next door Big Save for beer and sake). Food is delicious and service beyond our expectations. Noticed a lot of takeout orders because of fairly small seating capacity. After dinner, Mai offered to give us places to go in Thailand and contacts of her family members living in Thailand

I took my sister here for lunch cause it was right down the road from our house. We usually go to the other locations so this was our first time at this one. We were immediately seated and able to order within a reasonable time. I loved the soft shell crab bun and the thai tea. My sister loved her noodles and the sushi was pretty good too, it could’ve been a bit more spicy but that’s just a personal preference. I would definitely recommend trying this place out if you’re in a the area and looking for a something laid back and affordable.

Very disappointing experience.
The food itself was okay, but the service was hands down the worst I’ve ever experienced at a restaurant. We were seated in the back and completely ignored for about 25 minutes — no drinks, no napkins, no greeting, nothing.
When the waiter finally came to take our order, he still didn’t ask about drinks until my husband had to stop him and ask. Half of my order never came, and he repeatedly brought us food that belonged to other tables. Even after that, we still had no drinks. Throughout the entire experience, it felt very clear that the staff was far more focused on larger parties, likely prioritizing tables they expected bigger tips from, while we were repeatedly overlooked.
Our meals eventually arrived — my husband received his poke and I got my sushi — but when I asked for spicy mayo, it was acknowledged and then never brought out. Another waiter came by, and I asked for water, but by the time I was halfway through my meal, there was still no water, no spicy mayo, and still missing items from my order.
We ended up canceling the rest of the food and leaving to get pizza instead. Extremely disappointing and frustrating experience. I won’t be returning.

Best meal in Kapaa so far!! We had the Pad Thai with chicken, Drunken Noodles with Beef, Samurai roll, Big Monster Roll, and EBI roll. All was excellent!! Really sweet waitress and fast service! We’ll be back.

Best Thai in Kapaa. Especially like the Angry Tuna appetizer. We are trying the Crispy Ono Curry, it’s just a bit spicey, and the Crispy Garlic Shrimp.
We are back a 2nd time, trying the hero roll and the Crispy Ono Curry again.

This place is amazing and it will definitely be our go-to spot every time we are in Kapa’a! Hands down, the best fried rice I’ve ever had. We ordered 7 different dishes and loved them all. Judy, who served us was so great and nice to us. We can’t wait to go back and try more items since they have so much variety!

Highly recommend! We came here for a quiet dinner & loved the food & gracious host. I got the Ebi Tempura Roll and my husband got the vegetarian fried asparagus & tempura roll. We also got the Tom Yum soup (definitely the best tom yum I’ve had).
Also, compared to some of the other restaurants on the island, the prices were more affordable.

Small shop but very efficient. Super friendly and attentive staff. We came late from kayaking and they had a full house. Was worried were stuck behind the 30 top that came before us. Food came fast and hot, never skipped a beet. Great place for Thai and Sushi

My girlfriend and I had an amazing experience here! We started with the Monster Poke Bowl as an appetizer, and it was incredibly fresh and flavorful—definitely a must-try. For our mains, we ordered the Crispy Ono Curry and the Pad See Ew with shrimp. Both dishes were absolutely delicious, packed with flavor, and very reasonably priced for the island. The service was excellent—our server was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed without feeling rushed. The portion sizes were generous, and the overall experience was fantastic. We’ll definitely be coming back!
