I door dashed dinner to my hotel. I was excited to see they had green olives as you don’t find those in a lot of places. I ordered a pizza with green olives, pepperoni and mushrooms as well as a side of mozzarella sticks. Can you imagine my disappointment when I received my pizza with bell peppers on it instead of green olives.

I paid extra for something I had to pick off. I’d rate the pizza higher if it was how I ordered it.

The mozzarella sticks were really good. Not sure I’d order from here again, maybe sitting inside you’ll get what you order.

Big Mama’s and Papa’s Pizzeria

We haven’t visited BMPP in Burbank in over a decade! We had moved out of the area and were forced to change our diets so we decided to introduce pizza back into our lives to see if I was going to have an allergic reaction. I never ate their pizza because I am allergic to tomatoes so I always ordered their wings. Back in the day, we would usually meet up with our friends and have the usual, drunk, late night munchies meetups here. We ended up moving out of the area and moved back so we decided to pay them a visit.

The location is great as it’s on the corner of Alameda and Glen Oaks. They also have plenty of parking. The restaurant is bigger than I remembered and it has a full bar. I remembered they served beer back in the day but never knew they had a bar! This place is great to watch sports, too as the bar area have several big screen TVs. They also still have their infamous tabletop pizza! It’s a pizza as big as a four top table! You can do a pizza challenge with it or it can serve a dozen people, I would imagine so this restaurant is great for large gatherings!

The staff has always been wonderful. They’re always welcoming and friendly. Today we called for a take away order and the person on the other end of the phone was pleasant and you can tell they were smiling and love what they do. They weren’t rude and aggressive like other restaurants we’ve placed orders with in the past.

They also have other great appetizers like Jalapeno Poppers, Curly Fries, Buffalo Wings and Meatballs. They also have Gandolas and Calzones here, too! If you prefer the lighter side, they also have huge salads!

We played it safe and ordered the Chicken Wings (naked) and a 13 inch, thin crust Hawaiian pizza. Surprisingly, I had no allergic reactions to their pizza sauce! The pizza was delicious. Their dough was nice and light and was also East Coast style. One slice is bigger than your head, if you decide to just buy a slice! They don’t go overboard with the toppings and everything was PERFECT! I love their thin crust pizza!

The Buffalo Wings were great, too. Cooked to a golden brown, not greasy, light and crispy. They didn’t have breading on them. They also have different sauces for their wings. Since I’m allergic to all kinds of spices and stuff, we got them naked. The size of their wings are large. They weren’t tiny little chicken wings. I love the flats and my husband loves the drumettes so it was nice their wings were meaty. The wings also come with celery and carrot sticks, too. We think they make their dressings homemade because their dressings are always tasty. Even their Caesar dressing. You can tell their dressings are not from a bottle. Their Bleu Cheese, Ranch and Caesar dressings are so good that you want to dip everything in them! Since we also had a Caesar Salad, we had some of their delicious Garlic Bread, too. It makes me wonder if they make their own bread, too.

We will definitely be back because they have great Family Meal deals and I’m not allergic to their tomatoes and pizza sauce! I’m so happy to be able to add BMPP to our list for dinner nights! Now that there’s a sports bar, maybe we can watch our hockey team and Dodger games here!

Visited this place about a week ago. Was first time trying them after seeing them on Instagram. We ordered 1 of the 28 inch pizzas half combo half all meat combo, and a side of lemon pepper wings. The wings were good, but the pizza was definitely the star of the show. I don’t lnow what side i liked more, the all meat was so good, the meats were nice and crispy yet still soft and chewy, the combo side was also amazing, the veggies tasted fresh amd were the perfect offset for the meats that are on it. The staff was friendly and the restaurant was pretty clean and organized. Side note, to reheat pizza use an air fryer, it almost taste as good as it did fresh out the oven. Definitely recommend checking this place out.

I tried the Alfredo pasta and the Deluxe pizza. The Alfredo sauce wasn’t as creamy as I expected — it was more like a thin soup and lacked that rich, velvety texture. On the other hand, the Deluxe pizza was fantastic — full of flavor, perfectly baked, and loaded with tasty toppings. Overall, the pizza definitely stood out and made the meal worth it!

When I want pizza right after work this is the place I go to. They make the best pizza in town. The service is always great. The staff is wonderful the restuarant is neat. They have plenty of places for you to sit at. They have a bar if you want a slice and such. The sizes of the pizzas are out of this world. If you are wanting a pizza on your own I suggest just getting a slice because it is still a good amount for yourself.

Ordered a 28 inch cheese pizza and it was not even edible. It was hard and chewy and truly the worst pizza I ever had in my life. Almost all of it was thrown in the trash. The crust was hard and rubbery, the cheese tasted stale and there was almost no sauce to speak of and they didn’t even cut the slices good enough to pull the pieces apart. $80 in the trash.

Great pizza, huge slices and full pies, and some really good deals. I got the giant slice (4 tones as big as a regular) with a drink for $10. This is one off my favorite pizza places in the valley for sure.
