Chilli relleno burrito so good I wish I had a second one I cry on the walk home stopped in randomly! Also make sure to use cash it really helps support this wonderful business. Soooooo yummy! Especially after a super long walk home! Nostalgic comfy food warmed my entire heart. Just came back from chicago and me soul felt very loved thank you guys!

3.5/5. One of the best green chili I’ve had in Denver, but didn’t give them 5 stars because the burrito wasn’t evenly distributed. A lot more of potatoes than protein and green chili. You can see in the picture barely any meat or green chili in it. Also asked for cheese, got charged for it and didn’t get any in the burrito. Been there 3 times and have been charged 3 different prices.

I dont usually do this but I called and they knew what kind of crap they were doing so I drove 1 hour to go get a smothered burrito from this place and I order a smothered sausage breakfast burrito my usual order. I get my order drive back home and when I open it I see the sausage is on the side of the burrito I was like huh thats weird so I cut open the burrito and its full of ground beef very lazy work on the cooks side I recommend you check you food before leaving. Im very sad because I was really hungry and now I have to find something else to eat p.s the ground beef taste nasty

When I used to live in Denver, I’d make a trip to Big Mama’s and get their bacon breakfast burrito and a side of chicharrones. I’ve since moved to Washington, but I plan to make a trip to Big Mama’s every time I come to CO because they’re just SO good. The green chili tastes great, the chicharrones are homemade – I’ve never had anything I don’t like here! I will always go out of my way to come here. Staff is super friendly as well!

Food was okay. Bit of a messy wet burrito. Mixed feelings about that because it was good, but hard to eat and not really better than a really good fast food burrito. Cost was alright, not too much.
Service was incredible! Friendly staff and very helpful. Also my order came up almost immediately. Honestly it took me by surprise how fast it was ready!
As far as the location, the place looks a bit run down and I wasn’t even sure it was open until I pulled into the lot. Needs a lot of work.

If you like a breakfast burrito with just potatoes, some egg, a piece or two of a bacon bit (yes the kind you’d put on a salad) and maybe TBS of green chili (even when you asked and paid for extra) then this is the burrito for you! Oh and they don’t mix it- so the 2/3 of the burrito is all potato.
We usually love coming here but the last 3 times we’ve come it’s been poor man’s sludge in a tortilla. $10.67 for potatoes in a tortilla.. AND THEY PROCEED TO ASK YOU FOR A TIP on a walk up and order menu lol. Lucky to even give 2 stars.

I came in here on Sunday the food is good but unfortunately missed the mark on those drinks and the service. I’ve had agua frescas and have always loved them but these are some fake imitation. The water I had was so bad I couldn’t even finish it, for the price you would expect to actually have something decent but these were such a letdown. The coffee was also terrible, tasted like cardboard. The gas station down the street has better coffee and cheaper too. The service was terrible, the cashier was rude and needs to learn better customer service. I’ve usually always been helped by a young man who’s lovely. I have no idea if she was new or not but she had a terrible attitude. Will not be coming back.

I’ve wanted to check this place out for years and finally did. The burritos are HUGE. I posted a pic of two of them next to an uno card for scale. Such FRIENDLY service too, and Bravo for repurposing a building to prevent waste and create a truly unique food stop!

The breakfast burritos and beef and bean burritos are excellent. I get mine smothered with the medium green chili. Super affordable, cheaper than most places. The staff is awesome and super friendly. I miss the location on 72nd Ave because we could eat in, the new one is super small and only 2 2 top tables. The drive through is new and a great addition.
