For a lug to become a big lug they must go through a process. Plenty of food and plenty of time. Us big lugs don’t waste calories on foods that aren’t tasty. All of our food is made in house. While nothing we serve can be considered ground breaking or modern, everything we make gets us big lugs to salivate. Our motto is: good food is good food, great food has gravy on top.

Absolutely delightful experience with rustic atmosphere and exceptional service. Gambled on the chorizo pizza and won. Any establishment that can successfully make a delicious rare pizza can have my money. The chicken strips and cheeseburger I stole from the children at my table were also acceptable. Will return if in the area!

I had lunch here on the Devour Indy menu! Let me say it was fantastic. The pizza is amazing, the beet salad was THE Best! It is worth the hour and 15 minute drive for this!! The Fundido was really good as well. I will definitely be back. Great service and staff!

Big lug canteen serves the most amazing Nashville style wings. The atmosphere has the fun vibe in the evenings. We ordered Nashville style wings with garlic, habanero dressing. Wings were flavourful and the spice level hit the spot. They have unique toppings for wood fired pizza. I ordered a tropical chorizo pizza, oh boy it was really something different than the regular pizzas. The combination of mango, chorizo made it unique, the dough was light and really fresh. I look forward to try their famous poutine in my next visit☺️

We had a great experience at Big Lug! What I didn’t know is that they’re owned by Half Liter which I’ve been to as well.
We walked in and they weren’t busy so we immediately got a table. Our waitress was extremely friendly and attentive to us.
For food, we started with the breadsticks as an app. Those were really good!
As my entree, I got the Tenderloin with curly fries. Both were phenomenal. The fries were crispy and hot, and the Tenderloin was fried to perfection.
Overall, I’ll definitely make it back here at some point!

Decent place to hang out. Beers were a hit or miss, liked a few but others felt flat. The food was decent and my poutine was great, except I expected a little more meat on my plate for an entree. The kids menu is good. our server was kind and patient.

Absolutely delicious food, located right on the Monon! We sat on the outdoor 2nd floor patio and had no trouble getting a table on a Sunday evening. Their pork poutine was a must-have, and filled up 3 of us so much we couldn’t finish our actual entrees. Their burgers are divine and the slider size is enough to fill you up. Their fried mushrooms side comes with a yummy horseradish sauce and their honey Brussels sprouts are awesome. Will be back for sure!

What an awesome atmosphere! You’ve got to try the goat ranch beer if you are a beer person! The server was very friendly, but we had to wait a while for the check. Overall a good experience and will be back!

My team and I came here recently after work and had a great time, especially with our server…(the one who wants to be a teacher). To our server, thank you for all the laughs and entertainment and your presence. We loved every moment. The place was nice and clean, and the food was on point! There are several options for seating, outdoors, main region and the 21 and older upstairs area. Highly recommend!

Went here whilst working in Indy. Love the atmosphere here. As soon as I walked in it felt warm and comfortable. The up stairs and downstairs both have bars and TV’s that play sports.
Our Waitor, who’s name eludes me, was awesome. Attentive and helpful.
