Cute little ice cream shop in the heart of downtown. No indoor seating but they have a few benches and chairs outside to eat your ice cream while you watch The people on the boardwalk rides go round and round.
Ice cream was really tasty with good prices and huge portions! I think this is a must-stop for Old Orchard Beach area! 10/10 recommend! ❤️ ❤️

We unknowingly walked in just after closing but door was still open
Oldest Son got cake batter in an edible bowl but didn’t like it. Threw most of it in trash.
Youngest son got chocolate in a dish and enjoyed it. At all of it.
Daughter got brownie batter in a chocolate and nut cone. She liked it and ate as much as she could. Very large portion. I finished it.
Wife got coffee ice cream in a chocolate dipped cone and she enjoyed it
Dad got a Reeses Explosion sundae which was ABSOLUTELY AMAZINGLY LARGE AND DELICIOUS !! I ate every drop. It was ice cream heaven!!!!!
Overall this place is expensive but large portions and good ice cream. We spent $40 for 5 people.

Tons of options for flavors, cones, sundaes , pretty much anything ice cream. Only place I’ve ordered a cookie sandwich with ice cream and not have it all fall out, cookies were perfect and portions are generous! Highly recommend!
Only thing keeping it from 5 stars is cash only, in this day and age where everywhere takes cards having to go to an atm and get hit with a fee or get cash back is an extra hurdle, plenty of groups went in and left once they saw the sign, but bring some cash and enjoy!

The ice cream was not the greatest quality in the world, but it was still good. My group got coffee oreo, coffee espresso, sea salt dark chocolate, and mint chip. The sizes of the scoops were really large, and the total for a group of 9 was $34. CASH ONLY

If you want a variety of flavors and add-one this is your place! They also offer a ice cream sandwich which is 2 “freshly baked” chocolate chip cookies with a scoop of any flavor ice cream. I got mine with Maine Maple Walnut, it was huge and very good. Located right across from the amusement park right off the Blvd. Prices are OOB prices, paid over $25 for the sandwich, a waffle cone, and two cups of ice cream with toppings. Didn’t give it 5 star because it didn’t blow my socks off. Ice cream is pretty good, options are great!

This is my absolute favorite ice cream shop that I have ever been to! They have many unique flavors ranging from Cookie Monster to Maine wild blueberry. It’s a little pricey but definitely worth it. The service is great and the staff are nice. They offer an outdoor dining area which has a great view of the amusement park across the street. They also offer a wide variety of Big Licks merchandise/souvenirs. I would highly recommend stopping here if you are in the area.

I wish we took pictures, because the size of these ice cream cones was awesome! These were by far the largest “2-scoop” cones I’ve ever had.
The coffee toffee was okay, but the brownie batter flavor was excellent. The kids really like the riptide sluggish too.

I got one scoop of cheesecake ice cream and boy was it good! It tasted wonderful and had swirls of cheesecake crust in it.
I was a bit disappointed by the inside of the store however, as it felt a bit empty and there was no seating. Service was quick, but nothing to call home about. It doesn’t help that they are a cash only business, so don’t expect to pay with a debit/credit card.

The Autumn Experience
This is hands down the best place to catch a view of the Thursday fireworks from the strip. The inside atmosphere is very “Maine” like with the pine interior which I love. It’s clean, they have good drinks and the staff was lovely. We did not eat there so I will have to update later. As a local, this is a place I would gladly hang year round!
