Was so disappointed with this place. Please don’t even attempt to try it. I thought it was weird they were pretty slow for a Friday. They also only had 3 people working. They was about 4 orders ahead of us and we waiting over 30mins still. I ordered the kahuna burger with potato smashers. That’s what they called it. When the food came out finally, the potatoes were warm on the outside and almost frozen cold on the inside. So I assume they were premade and then microwaved or heated up. The burger was burnt completely around the outside. I order corn bread with it and they served it wrapped in plastic wrap. When I mentioned the potatoes being cold she went to the back and came out 2 seconds later with more cold potatoes. The bacon on it was also no fully cooked, just thrown on in a mess. My girlfriend ordered the brisket and it was just a plate full of grease. You pay for the food ahead of time, now I know why they do that. We just got up and left it. I will say the staff seemed nice, they just seemed overwhelmed and had no help, support, or proper training.

We love this place and go for the Taco’s every time we are in the area. We also get the smashers….all the sauces are homemade. We get the peanut one. Atmosphere is quaint and the people working are always SO nice.

We came here today only because another restaurant that we planned to visit was closed….AND we are thankful it was. The food here is amazing. I had the pork belly, coleslaw and cornbread. It was truly the best I’ve had. After looking at some of earlier reviews, I wasn’t sure how it was going to be. After eating here, I can honestly say that they should give it another try. It was the best BBQ around. Service was equally as good. Staff and owner were super friendly. I’d give 6 stars if I could. Definitely coming back for sure.

Apparently $22 gets you 6 shrimp and 6 slices of zucchini. So disappointed. Will not come back here. Idk if it’s because I picked up and didn’t dine in, but wow literally just picked up my food and I’m honestly thinking about going back and returning it. This is ridiculous.

Had an excellent lunch with my mother. Randomly stopped in on a road trip, read no reviews. Had the smokehouse burger and it was beautiful. Huge portion and cooked perfectly. Bun was also toasted just how I like it and the pork wasn’t dry and blended with the burger.
The chef/waiter/maybe owner was courteous and attentive despite cooking everything as well! Everything was great, look at the picture and see for yourself!

I came here with my family just the other day and had a fantastic experience. The owner was there to greet and serve us, and he was truly a pleasure to talk to and elevated the visit. I got the ribs and they were cooked perfectly, and all of the rest of the food was absolutely delicious. The menu offers a great selection for those who are gluten free as well. I love the vibe of the restaurant and would definitely return here whenever I can!

Love this place. I am in here at least a few times a month. The brisket, ultimate smashers (think loaded grilled potatoes), sauces, and sides are all amazing. Great experience at Big Kahunas this evening. Got the smasher supreme, pork belly, and brisket. This gave us a taste of 4 delicious meats. We also got 4 different sauces to try, so we had a great sampling of what they have. Everything was superb. You’ve got to try the smoked black beans; best black beans I’ve ever had. Super friendly and patient service. Will definitely be back!
