Let me put this in perspective. I had a good pepperoni pizza with breadsticks and jalapeño poppers. Big Kahuna’s is not a fancy, wood oven burning joint by no means and they don’t pretend to be. The pizza was on the thinner side similar to a PJ’s thin crust. The breadsticks were not bad but not out of this world…wish everyone had Olive Garden breadsticks. lol
They are open from 3:30pm until 2am or 3am on Fri/Sun for your evening or LATE evening cravings. That’s exactly what this place, a late night spot to curve those cravings.
I like the theme inside but I’m sure they are aware that they need new flooring in the dining room. I ordered to go, the staff was friendly while working their tails off and I enjoyed the meal, yes…I would get their pizza again. Thanks Jerrica.

Customer service is GREAT! Had everything I ordered for delivery $65 worth. Pizza is good similar to family owned pizza places but nothing special. The buffalo wings are not so good. They came dry and not spicy and not very good. The picture of then is AFTER I added buffalo sauce. Jalepeno poppers are cooked perfectly and they’re cream cheese!!

My grandmother used to order big kahunas for us kids 35 years ago. It was a different pizza than the other chains around here. I always enjoyed their food. The responses to the reviews remind me of her. I miss her. God bless

Really paid $20 for this pizza. The price to quality ratio was absolutely ludicrous. Right from opening the box the pizza was hardly cooked. I was really hoping to like it as it is just down the road but the pizza itself tasted like a cold white castle slider. Food not up to par for more than a gutter rat. You would be better of taking lunchables pizzas and microwaving because then then you have less of a chance of getting food poisoning. I kid you not I had to take off a day of of work to recover mentally and physically. Just when I thought it couldn’t get any worse… THERE WAS MULTIPLE HAIRS IN IT. Someone there even recommended I go elsewhere before I ordered and I should have listened…what is this creation!!!

I have to reedit my review! So I have visited this location several times only to not get service! 3 times I was standing at the counter for over 20 mins no one around, also been a handful of times when they are supposed to be open the door is locked and no one comes to let you in! Here are to 11/4/2024 at 12:15 sign on verified they are open but door locked again no service! I won’t be wasting anymore time trying to order food from here!!

I’ve only had kahunas once before and I don’t remember any issues at the time. Today I was planning to check them out again and order dinner for myself and a friend.
While I was waiting for dinner time I decided to look over the reviews.
First, let me say I absolutely do not believe the customer is always right and I’m very aware that some people leave negative reviews just to cause trouble.
But I’m extremely disturbed by the responses I’m seeing from the owner.
The owner only rarely comments on positive reviews and instead responds to negative reviews in the most unprofessional and aggressive manner I’ve ever seen from a business let alone the “owner”.
I saw quite a few positive reviews that went totally ignored.
I did not see a single attempt to resolve any of the negative reviews. Most responses to negative reviews were aggressive, name calling, talking down, insulting and grossly unprofessional.
In all honesty, had I not seen the owners unprofessional responses I would have ignored those negative reviews, ordered my pizza and made up my own mind about the business.
As I stated earlier I do know that people leave bogus reviews for whatever reason. BUT on the flip side, not every negative review is fake either.
Had the owner just shown an attempt at resolving an issue I wouldn’t be concerned. I would have been fine if he just ignored those intentionally negative posts and just focused on the good reviews and promoting a customer service friendly environment.
But I’m seriously blown away by the responses I’ve read.
As much as I wanted to order this pizza tonight, I just can’t do it.
I’m not a picky or difficult customer by any means and would likely have had no issue whatsoever. But, what if I did? I already know exactly what kind of reaction I would get.
Maybe I’ll revisit the reviews later and try again.

The food was a complete score for me working late nights and not finding anything else open that would deliver and take cash. The food was great! Ordered calzones and breadsticks. The guy who answered the phone was a bit impatient with me and it took and hour to get here (I live 10 mins away). The girl who delivered was sweet and had a smile on her face tho!
