Went to Big Johns after maplewood state park. Has good food and good service . The atmosphere was great and would go again. The 1919 root beer was really good as well. Loved it!

Holy cats Batman this is amazing pizza! I have had a ton of pizza in my life and this was one of the best! We picked up a small all-meat pizza to bring back to our campsite at Sherin Memorial Park and we were blown away. The gal working was very pleasant, both while taking my phone order and when I picked it up – hot and delicious! Can’t wait to get this pizza again next year when we return to camp again. Congrats on being outstanding!

We liked the pizza (because we were quite hungry?), dived right in! Could have finished the large in one sitting.
It’s cut into squares, and that is style I grew up with in Northeast Mpls. But I’ll eat a good pizza cut in any fashion.
Dined in Friday May 27. Moderately busy for onsite dining, very busy for carryout orders. There is outside dining as well. Menu is posted on the shield, order/pay at the register. Wasn’t sure if we were to bus our own table or not, no wait staff, focus is on order taking and making food.
We did wait 45 minutes for our order, but I would do it again. And again. 1919 Root Beer on tap or in a can.

Husband’s Dad’s and Gaming
This place is locally owned and has exceptional service. The pizza is out of this world good. They even cut it into squares for the kids! The beer selection is top notch and is for the aspiring beer connoisseur. Definitely worrh the trip from Baltimore,MD!

By far me and my family’s favorite pizza place! They also have potatoe wedges that are awesome! Really nice place to sit down very clean staff is very kind and generous if anyone comes to pelican rapids is a must place to try!
