It’s one of those places you are glad you found. I had the all-you-can-eat fish and shrimp. The fish was hot and fresh, so was the shrimp. Sides were coleslaw and pinto beans. Food was very good. Dessert was a blueberry dump cake and included with the meal. Staff were friendly, fast, and helpful. Would eat here again and highly recommend a meal here.

This spot is a must-visit for comfort food lovers. The barbecue plate was outstanding—tender, smoky, and perfectly paired with classic sides of coleslaw, baked beans, and creamy macaroni salad. Their deep-fried hamburgers are truly one of a kind, crispy on the outside yet juicy inside, making them unforgettable. And to top it all off, the banana pudding is the perfect sweet finish.

We found this “bbq shack” deep in Big Spring. It looks like a good wind would blow it away but don’t let that deter you.

We began with onion rings as an appetizer.

The main courses were plentiful and perfectly cooked. We both had the 2 meat platter with Ribs and Brisket.

The beans side were too salty for me to eat. The BBQ sauce, served on the side, was OK but not something I would select. Unfortunately we were not given any choices.

There was live music in the main room which was surprisingly good and at the proper volume.

I’ve been eating for over 40 years now, so I pretty much consider myself a professional at this point . And let me just say—this place absolutely delivered!!!

The food and atmosphere were fantastic, but what really stood out was the service. The team here is wonderful, genuinely helpful, and actually FUN to be around!? You don’t just feel served—you feel welcomed, like you’re part of the family.

And here’s the kicker—after finishing the meal, they brought out a complimentary dessert. No other restaurant I know does this! It’s little touches like this that make the experience unforgettable.

If you’re looking for a spot where the food and the people both leave you smiling, this is it. I’ll definitely be back with my wife!

PS – The image attached is what *was* left of the deep-fried burger and tater tots. Dessert was the cherry on top. 10/10 would eat here again!!

This is a hidden gem right here! Ive never had food so delicious, perfect sweet tea, a chicken friend cheeseburger with tots, and the dessert was incredible. The staff is very friendly! Being from CT, I highly recommend anyone looking for a bite to eat out this way to stop here!

Being someone from the northeast, we aren’t used to a lot of traditional home cooked style foods…. the food we had here today was quite possibly the best food I think I have ever had. The fried burger was large, perfectly cooked and the toppings were fresh (not to mention the mustard gave it great flavor). The krack dip, while I still don’t really know what it was, was phenomenal in every aspect. We also tried the chicken fried steak, which was smothered in the most delicious gravy. Finally, they give you pudding as dessert to end your meal…. I don’t know if this is common down here but I’m pretty sure I could eat a 5 gallon bucket of it. It was the perfect size and made for a good ending to the meal. The atmosphere was lovely and everyone working was very friendly and helpful.

Gotta check this place out! Great BBQ, large servings, and great prices. $10 lunch special with 2 huge ribs, a huge chopped BBQ sandwich, and a side. Small, cozy, western interior. They also came by offering a free cup of ice cream but I was too full from the food.

Ordered the all you can eat fish and shrimp with hush puppies and fries. Fish is delicious! All of my shrimp were under cooked with mushy batter on the inside. Fries were soggy as they were buried under the fish on the plate. Hush puppies were crispy and delicious! The atmosphere is very rustic and somewhat dirty. The tea is very good. As we were just traveling through town, it’s a one and done. If I was a local, I’d give them a couple of more tries. I did not notify them about my shrimp. Kind of in a hurry and the three pieces of fish were plenty for me.

If you want good comfort food with friendly service and a rustic atmosphere, this is your spot! The food was delicious and the staff was so friendly to us out of towners. Try the frito pie, their homemade chili and cheese was the best!! We will stop in again next time we come through.

It’s everything you would expect from an amazing Texas barbecue place! It took me a minute to notice all the Marion Morrison memorabilia to realize who they were talking about.
Food was fantastic, the service was great, and the owners were way Cool!
