Parking lot was full ,people come before me block the entry even had 1 lot in front the store. Boiled shrimp dried taste and nothing special. Other than that the menu not much food for 27$ person .Cashier told $64,but the day after i check my bank acct was charged $67.13 for 2 persons + 2 drinks . I promise i never come back again, will not recommend family/friend to come here even want to support local business

Went there tonight. Had the sea food buffet. Not much of a buffet tho. The fish was barely alright. Had the boiled shrimp. It was awful. First of all when I eat boiled shrimp I want to taste boiled shrimp. Not crawfish boiled. They boil their shrimp in crawfish boil. The fish wasn’t the worse I have ever eaten. But it wasn’t by far the best either.
Anyway with just two people eating the price was $67.11. For that price it should had been a better tasting dinner. Seems to me like the cook needs to learn how stuff is supposed to taste.
Won’t be back, reason being the buffet is way to High for just barely good enough to eat. You would think for that price you could eat off of regular dishes Not Styrofoam and plastic utensils. With drinks served in a Styrofoam cup.

Great home town feel with great food and excellent service. Even has live music on Friday night. Total diamond in the ruff worth the visit

I really started out really loving this restaurant, but we went to the last seafood buffet. The music was so loud, we could not hear each other talk and we were away from the band. The seafood was overcooked, and the stuffed crab had no taste and appeared to be old. One member of our group does not eat seafood, so she ordered fried chicken. Her order literally took over 30 minutes to arrive. We had already finished eating.

Owner has, to best of his ability (time allowing) personally greeted every customer each time we have been there. We are repeat customers. Food is always fresh, hot and tasty. Prices are reasonable and portions generous. Only a picky, finicky customer would find fault(s) here.

My wife and I have been to Big John’s restaurant in Hornbeck, La. Several times and the food has always been good as they cook your order fresh when you order. They have an excellent sea food buffet on Friday nights with live music. A friendly family restaurant for the entire family.

I have been here several times and it’s always great. A Mexican style menu was advertised and we went to that also. The restaurant was packed and it was a big hit. It did present some challenges for the staff that wasn’t expected and wait times were longer than normal. John was apologetic over the extended waits and the food was excellent. It’s great to see a restaurant owner venture out of the normal and do something different for the community to try.

We arrived 45 minutes prior to the all you could eat seafood buffet opened and they refused to starve any seafood from the menu. I assume that was an attempt to force you to pay for the buffet. I really wanted fish but did not want to wait 45 minutes so we ended up ordering Philly cheese steaks off the menu. This is a terrible policy that I did not appreciate after driving 45 minutes to try the fish.
