They now have an excellent gluten-free wrap used with any type of sandwich. Outstanding. Playing golf is not required to eat at this great little gem tucked away at the Palmetto Dunes Robert Trent Jones Ocean Course. I have only eaten a few items so far and will take some time to complete all of the foods listed on the menu that I am able to eat due to celiac. The staff is well versed in the gluten-free selections and is double-checked by Chef Patrick and his staff. The few items I have ordered, the pulled pork is nice and tender with just the right amount of spices without becoming overbearing and still taste the pork flavor. The smoked chicken is excellent. As much as I enjoy pulled pork, I believe the smoked chicken edges out the pork. They also have gluten-free buns, which increases the available options for dining. All barbeque items are excellent and nothing similar to what you may find in Long Island, NY, the birthplace of Chef Patrick, and that is a great thing. Similar to a restaurant located north of Atlanta with an OUT OF BUSINESS sign on the door. The name, New York City Style Ribs. I have never heard of these famous ribs and when I have an opportunity, I think I shall pass.
They serve one of the top two, in my opinion, gluten-free pizza crusts, recipe created by Chef Patrick in the country. Select the toppings, kick back with a cocktail, the pizza will arrive within 10 minites, and it is excellent. Tip; always order gluten-free pizza well done. I am happy to conduct a taste test to determine the best gluten-free pizza, but the other two vying for the number 1 position are located in Palm Springs, CA and Morris Plains, NJ. Will require a travel budget in order to complete the tasting.
There are several beers on tap, more in cans or bottles along with the flavored vodka drinks. With the extensive menu there is no doubt that you will find something to enjoy. Eat good food, drink a few beers while overlooking a portion of the golf course. Outdoor seating is available as well. You will enjoy and if you are unable to decide on what to order, the Staff members are extremely knowledgeable and friendly and will assist. The entrance to the restaurant is the same as the Proshop.

Went out with my mom to celebrate. Our waiters were from the Middle East. They treated us like second class citizens. When I got my meal the paper lining was degraded into the food. When we told the waiter he said it was fine and that i could still eat it. We felt like he told me to eat paper..
When i called a few days later the manager told me that they would call me back. I never got a call back. See the picture of the 3 pieces of paper I took out of my food.

Prices were great considering it was on a golf course. BBQ platter was huge $27 and my husband said it was THE BEST BBQ chicken he’d ever had. Chef salad was huge and only $13. Bites and sauce were delish.
Our waitress, Tasha, was wonderful. Super sweet and friendly.
Son’s burger was missing but he enjoyed it regardless. $5 cans of beer.
Beautiful scenery. I’d go back if I was staying longer.

This restaurant is part if the Arthur Hills golf course in Palmetto Dunes. Quaint after golf spot with plenty of TVs and a monitor that overlooks and broadcasts the 18th hole. We had a blue cheese burger and Memphis chicken sandwich. Both came with fries and were tasty. Servers was friendly and food came fast.

I recently hosted a company client event at Big Jim’s at Palmetto Dunes, and I cannot say enough good things about the staff and overall experience. From start to finish, the entire team went above and beyond to make sure everything was seamless.

They were professional, attentive, and incredibly kind throughout the planning process and day-of execution. Every detail was handled with care, and our guests were raving about the service and atmosphere.

We are here now! And I must say EVERYTHING & EVERYONE is great! We are now finished with our meal and it was delicious! We had the Fried Grouper Sandwich, Loaded Pulled Pork Nachos, Pep Pizza, and Bacon Cheeseburger Sliders!! Our server Xavier was such a delight! He was nice and personable! We will return!

Great experience all around. Rachel was amazing and fun. Our party of 8 was loud and wet from golfing in the rain and she was sweet and accommodating and meshed extremely well with our group. Food was very good as well. Great time had by all!!!

I leave 1 star for French fries, but not for a cheeseburger.
The cutlet was half raw, I asked to cook the cutlet Well-done, there was no one to talk to – the waiter brought food, came once when I ate potatoes and hadn’t touched the cheeseburger yet, after that he just disappeared and we didn’t see him again.
My husband went to the bar to ask for our check because no one served us.

5:30 pm. Wings, rack of ribs, bbq sandwich & fish tacos. Ready in 20 minutes, order was correct, portions were excellent, food was hot & delicious. All condiments were provided along with utensils. Would eat their food again! Priced reasonable for HHI.
