One of my favorite places to grab a DELICIOUS bite of bbq!!! If I have to choose a spot that’s not my family’s cooking this is an easy YES!! The brisket literallyyyy so tender I was able to cut it with my fork! Just saying if you desire good tasting food! Go get you some Big Jack’s BBQ!

Seeing a lot of reviews on this place that are negative but let me say. We’ve been a few times and let me say, this place is amazing. Might be the best bbq for miles. The brisket and sausage and sides are great, but the smoked turkey sets this place apart. It is nothing short of incredible. Everyone in Lewisville should try it!

This place has gotten so much hate in the reviews but allow me to change your perspective. I came in tonight for the first time and was immediately greeted but several friendly faces. The restaurant was very inviting, clean, and organized (and also much bigger than I ever expected).
I ended up getting the 2 meat plate with turkey, brisket, Mac n cheese, and fried okra. I also got 2 rolls and cinnamon butter.
The brisket was delicious, juicy, and paired with the sweet bbq sauce a total hit for me.
Then I tried the turkey…. Which might be one of the best turkeys I’ve ever had. It was ridiculously good. I’ll be going back for that often!
The Mac n cheese was good, but the okra with ranch was the star here. Super fresh, crispy, and flavorful!
I was very impressed with my experience and thought the food was very very tasty. I’ll certainly be a regular here supporting this business and telling others about it.

Food: We had the ribs and brisket plate with green beans and Mac and cheese for the sides. We also had the banana pudding as a desert. This was my second time coming here in over three years. I wanted to try them again to see if things were different…
Ribs – they really tasted old. Almost like they have been sitting in the fridge for a while and then warmed up to serve. You can see a smoke ring but, can’t tasted the smoke. I believe they are baking the ribs along with smoking them. 1 out of 5
Brisket – much of the same thing with the brisket. Tender meat but, lacked smoke and tasted old as well. 1 out of 5
Sides – the sides were not good as well. The green beans were canned in my opinion and didn’t taste fresh. The Mac and cheese was flavorless and the noodles were over cooked. 1 out of 5
Desert – the banana pudding tasted processed as well. Didn’t seem fresh. It was a lot of pudding with only a two cookies and no bananas. 1 out of 5
Service – the service was actually really good. Everyone was so nice. We were greeted at least twice. The chef was really nice and the servers were as well. 5 out of 5
Atmosphere – the atmosphere was not great. The seat was tapped and overall just didn’t feel clean to me. 3.5 out of 5
Price – we paid $22 for the plate plus the desert and one drink. Not bad for a bbq spot however, for the quality of food it’s over priced to me.
Overall, this place is much like it was a few years ago when I tried it. The food isn’t smoked all the way through. The food does taste like left overs. I think with a few small adjustments they could be a good place to come for bbq. If they were to attempt to cook some of their sides fresh, revamp their desert options and smoke the meat all the way through, they could be a go to spot here in Lewisville.
Unfortunately, the best thing we had there was the soft drink from the fountain machine. Sorry but, that’s the truth. Hopefully, they can adjust.

Very disappointing to say the least. Brisket was dry and flavorless with a weird taste to it. Willing to bet it was days old and just reheated.
We had high hopes for the side dishes only to be let down even more. Mac & cheese had a green hue to it and had no flavor at all. Potato salad was whipped into basically mush with WAY too much mustard in it to the point it was bright yellow.
Was literally inedible.
We ended up throwing it all out and we hate wasting food.

This place is a hidden gem! Their meat is well-smoked, their sauces are tasty, their sides are delicious, their portions are plentiful, and their prices aren’t bad for what you’re getting. We enjoyed our meal and can’t wait to come here again.

Brisket was very dry, had to add sauce which I typically don’t. Mac and cheese was fine, banana pudding was good, no bananas in my portion though. Food wasn’t bad just wasn’t good/great. Just a meal (shrug). Can’t recommend, unless you don’t want to drive 10 min farther out. Dickeys/spring creek level quality.

The barbecue wasn’t anywhere near as good as I thought it would be. It was kind of bland and not much if any smoke flavor. The macaroni was also very bland and not very appealing to the taste buds. This is a update as to why I lowered the review from 3 star to 1 star. The food made my coworker and I violently ill. I would definitely be hesitant about eating here.
