I got the 3 entree (Steak, Jerk Chicken, Ox Tail, Fried Rice) at the cost of $24. I also asked for Potato Cakes witch they didn’t have and Cheese Croquets that I didn’t receive. The food was great and would definitely eat again. Service was like self checkout at Walmart it got the job done. I asked a few questions and either got a mumbling answer or nothing back. I let her know this was my 1st time eating there but she seemed not to care. The man cooking was much more attentive and vocal witch was good. That being said I recommend the food because it was great and I will try it again.

If you’re a FLETC student who is sick and tired of chow hall food, give this place a try. The amount of food you get, along with the quality and service, are amazing—especially when you’re paying less than $20. (Tip: get the grilled chicken and house sauce.) Honestly, this place was one of the reasons I was able to push through the academy. Trust me, you won’t regret it.

Recently, my husband and I visited Big Island which is located near Sam’s Club and Cheddar’s
on Canal Crossing Road. We went on October 13th. It was very easy to find the restaurant
because it is in a plaza with a big chicken logo. The restaurant is open Sunday through Friday,
11am to 9:30pm. This is a casual dining restaurant, very similar to chipotle. It has 2000’s music
playing in the background with an island decoration vibe to it. The staff was super friendly,
asking if we were from town or visiting and suggesting some of the food to try. I got a single
entree with a base of fried rice and mac and cheese with curry chicken, with pickled onions on
the side (I love pickled onions and these were amazing, they are made in house!) and crab
rangoons. My husband got a double entree with just fried rice as the base with grilled chicken,
fried shrimp, and plantains. We paid $40 for both of our meals and two drinks. They also gave
us some samples of sauces they are thinking about adding to the menu. There was a large
selection of foods to try with about four bases, and a wide selection of meat to try including lamb
shanks and oxtails. They have plenty of toppings to go with it as well. There are no dessert
options on the menu. This restaurant was amazing in my opinion. The food was delicious, the
curry was not spicy, but still very flavorful. The staff loads up your plate pretty heavy so the
portion was worth the price. I will most definitely be back. Everything tasted fresh and went well
together. I would love to take my family there, though the dining area is a little small, so I would
not suggest large parties. They do however have catering options on the menu. It is a 10/10

Underrated!!! Affordable price for REALLY good food! I paid about $15 for 2 entrees and sides or $17 for 3 entrees and sides (and I was full). The seasonings are great, I got some chicken in curry, smoked oxtails, and some lamb, and it was Fantastic

Blown away by this delicious food!!!! The owner was so kind and gave us a sample and we loved every single bite. The portions are generous…reasonably priced… for the most flavorful food. Amazing addition to the Glynn County restaurant lineup! The jerk chicken and curried chicken were perfection, the variety of sides and toppings were also amazing.
I love that you can create your own meal, essentially, macro and nutrient wise. Healthy options were truly lacking at exit 38 but here you can literally get a lettuce base with all protein and veggie toppings if you want.
Service was very friendly, the owners mom was working when we went and she was absolutely amazing. Made you feel right at home. We will be frequent patrons here.

The food was absolutely delicious and packed with flavor—definitely a place worth trying! We ordered the grilled chicken, curry chicken, stir-fried noodles, fried rice, cabbage, and a variety of other vegetables, and it turned out to be one of my favorite meals in a long time. Everything was fresh, well-seasoned, and clearly made with care.
The owner provided excellent service and made us feel welcome from start to finish. Be sure to ask for their sauce recommendations—they really take the dishes to the next level!
