Be advised we asked for our food well done and extra spicy and they didnt disappoint especially on that curried shrimp.
We left stuffed and satisfied and no we didnt mind the bill.
Word of advised experience for yourself everyone’s experience won’t be you experience. The proof is in the photos!!!
I attended with my son, we both had starters sweet & sour & bbq chicken wings, big portion sizes for starters, they were good.
The main, I ordered spicy Lobster & it came with 2 sides so I chose fries& coleslaw. My son ordered oxtail & rice.
My lobster was overcooked, it was very chewy and rubbery. I was extremely disappointed as I was looking forward to it, plus this restaurant was recommended by family/ friends. Lobster is not cheap, and because this is their specialty I presumed it would be delicious…Usually, at home (UK) I would have complained to the staff, but probably because I was on holiday, I didn’t say anything just paid the bill and left very disappointed.
Lastly, my son enjoyed his dinner and said the oxtail was delicious and tender.
We started with the calamari and the mussels. The calamari was perfectly breaded (not overly) and crisp. It was served with jalapeño mayo that was flavorful but not spicy. The mussels were tender and cooked in a delicious sauce served with bread seasoned nicely and soft enough to sop up the sauce.
For our mains: My husband had the smoked tequila lobster with shrimp thermador. Holy moly! This was amazing and not overly rich. He only offered to share one bite!! I had the seafood curry. It was packed with a half lobster, mussels, shrimp and conch that was tender (not chewy like other establishments)! My daughter enjoyed the calamari so much, she ordered calamari and chips as her main, with a lovely coleslaw on the side. My son had the spicy shrimp which had enough heat without destroying your tastebuds.
For dessert we shared a lovely cheesecake with delicious pistachio ice cream.
This is a not so hidden gem that definitely deserves a stop! It was the best meal we had on the island! I wish we had tried it sooner!
After driving past for much of our time here, the lure of the big lobster was too strong. The lights and decoration is certainly eye catching, but the food makes sure this place is no gimmick.
We turned up just after sunset without a reservation. Seats available outside. From that point on the main server was busy non stop. Great service.
Starters were top notch. My jerk chicken wings were lip tingling good. Mrs B loved her coconut shrimp
Mains were lobster of course
Thermidor was outstanding. We will not have a better one this trip…it was that good.
My seafood curry was full of flavour and seafood. Huge half lobster meat. Mussels and shrimp. Divine.
Highly recommended.
