The pastrami sandwich was huge and very juicy. Great flavor! Pastrami made in house!
The chicken shawarma was unlike any other I’ve ever had- so much flavor and wonderful sauciness! A must try for anyone who likes shawarma. Also huge portion!
The baklava is so good! Perfect texture and sweetness! Homemade by his family.
The dolma is not homemade but still very good.
Great stop for when we are traveling thru again.

Wow just had their cheeseburger and it was awesome! Great seasoning on it.
My son had the chicken Philly bowl and he said it was great. We love their sides, we had the grape leave wraps and the cucumber salad.

Found this spot on my drive to Gulf Shores from Kentucky, saw the reviews and figured it was great. This place completely exceeded my expectations. I got the Chicken Shwarma Plate with Corn Salad and Dolma and it was genuinely the best plate of food I’ve ever had. The rest of family all said the same about what they ordered. Words can put into perspective how good the Tzatziki and well seasoned chicken go together. Both sides were a 10/10. Vegetables tasted extremely fresh and had magnificent flavor. The owner and staff were extremely friendly, refilling our drinks multiple times. They even threw in a free Baklava to what we ordered. This little stop has such a friendly and homey atmosphere with some of the best food you’ll ever eat. I couldn’t recommend this place enough to anyone passing through or local. Your mind will be blown. 4.9 stars doesn’t do this joint justice.

I’m a sucker for a good, hole-in-the-wall restaurant and Wow did I find a gem with Big H! Delicious, fresh Mediterranean food and great service. Keep driving past the chain restaurant junk and check this place out. I will definitely be returning on future visits to West Point.

This place is just excellent. If I lived in WP I would eat there every week. This is genuine Mediterranean cuisine and the bread and meats are prepared fresh daily as advertised! He gives generous portions so that should settle the concern if it’s being considered. Mr. Adnan is very friendly and takes care of his customers! He moved her and opened this business because he loves the people and wanted to bring quality Mediterranean food locally. A+++

You’d be hard pressed to find better food in the Golden Triangle at any price. When you consider the price and portions, Big H should be at the top of your list for lunch or evening take-out.

On our way home from a business trip in Meridian headed back North to Tupelo we THOUGHT we wanted barbeque. We saw Big H on Google. The reviews were good enough to convince us to stop. Not to mention, there were Dolmas on the menu.
We enjoyed the chicken shawarma plate with hummus, and dolmas. Also, enjoyed the gyro plate with potato salad and cucumber salad. The pita bread was delicious with the hummus and tzatziki. The shawarma over rice was like I was visiting someone’s home. The dolmas were better than I have ever eaten anywhere. The flavor is robust! I actually purchased more on the way out the door. The portions are a testimony to how much the owner takes pride in his craft. The food is prepared right in front of you and it comes out very fresh.
The place was quite busy while we were there but no one waited very long. Even if you did – trust me, it’s well worth the wait!
Give Big H a try if you love Mediterranean food. It is much better than the big box places – and the Yelp awards in the wall say the same.
