First time here & went with friends who’d been here before. Just for a casual fish-fry in good company. Ordered a three-piece (specifically for leftovers) Cajun-style Pollock with a size salad; and a spicy Bloody Mary with an Oktoberfest chaser. Tasty Bloody with typical fixings, but I do love that it was an actual Slim Jim!
Well reviewers, I ate leftover fish all weekend and it was still delicious.
The portions were enormous. I’m pretty sure I made a face when it was served because there was so much. Crispy (not greasy), moist, delicious and otherwise absolutely perfect. We went at about 4:15-ish and it didn’t start really jumping until we were leaving at about 5:30. Friendly, efficient staff with equally friendly patrons. It may have had a “bar” atmosphere when we walked in, but it’s definitely a family destination and I was glad to see it. A great experience all around and my friends said, “It’s always like this.” Thank you Big Guy’s! I’ve heard your pizza is great, too, so we’ll be back!

Our third time here, love it! Food is great, large menu for choices. Prices are decent. Service has always been fantastic-something that seems to have gone downhill most other places. Big Guys, keep those servers happy because you don’t want to lose them!

We kicked things off with cheese nuggets and Reuben rolls, followed by a JD BBQ Chicken & Bacon pizza and a full burger lineup: Western, Mushroom Swiss, Bang Bang, and classic Cheeseburgers. My Western Burger was spot-on, and the tots deserve a shoutout of their own.
The surprise cheesecake bites at the end? Elite move.

Fantastic burger and delicious wings. They had a great selection of sauces, of which I highly recommend the sweet heat. The Bloody Mary was a nice level of spice and refreshing tomato juice. Reasonable prices for beer, and very friendly staff.

We sat out on the patio with a lake view, cool breeze and nice sunset. The broccoli cheese appetizers and pizza were good and the service was cheerful. There were well-behaved dogs at two tables and the waiter brought them dog bowls of water, so it’s very pet friendly. The food came quickly enough that I would feel comfortable bringing young kids, and they do have a kids menu.
