I’ve only come here for the pit beef sandwiches because they used to be the best. The guy that used to cut the beef left a year or so ago. It’s very rare lately that I get a good sandwich and if I do I think it’s accidental. I don’t think anyone is explaining to the people working there that beef needs to be cut against the grain. Otherwise, even tender beef seems tough.

There was a meetup for a breakfast and ride to support local business and it turned out to be Christmas in July. Is was presently surprised with the inside. Nice long bar with outside seating and friendly service. I have the breakfast sandwich and it was good.

I have been coming here for years always enjoyed the pit beef was here last Saturday and the prices went up which is to be expected but what I didn’t expect was how much less meat they are putting on the sandwiches now. I have pictures from a few years ago that I compare to now I travel over 100 miles to come and get their sandwiches but I am disappointed to the point that I will rethink coming here again I am sad because it used to be really good and different than other places but now they only put about half the meat in their sandwiches as they did just a couple of years ago

The food and service here are always great. The beer is always cold, and I always have a good time. You should also always check out their pit beef stand. It is one of the better pit beef stands in the area. Delicious!
