Overall I would say that we were disappointed in the dishes that we ordered. We tried the atchafalaya (fried catfish on a bed of crawfish etouffe) and jambalaya. The dishes seemed cool or cold, and came out really quick the combination of both of this leads me to believe it was precooked food that was reheated. It was salty but not as flavorful as I would have liked. The fish was good. I suspect their better dishes are the catfish basket and the burger so I would prefer those and avoid the other dishes.

Fantastic! Wish I would have got a picture of the food but couldn’t put the food down long enough to snap some. The fried fish was so good I thought it was sunday after church and I went to the back looking for granny! O and they have ice cream, enjoy!

Clean, friendly, delicious! Went in on a Wednesday and had the hamburger steak special with gravy, cabbage, and green beans. Took the option to add sautéed mushrooms and onions to the gravy. Did not disappoint, packed with flavor! When these small, family run establishments have a special of the day I take their advice and get it. Will definitely stop in again on my way back through Sulphur.

Wow! This place didn’t disappoint. Flavor was phenomenal for such a simple fried fish dish. I wanted the etouffee but they were sold out. My husband had a burger and that was delicious as well!! 10 out of 10 would recommend

Stopped in and had the “Big E Burger” man oh man…. What a treat. It was like a whole breakfast platter sandwiched in between buns with a juicy smashed burger pattie. My fries were done right and now topping it all off with a cup of Oatmeal Crunch Blue Bell ice cream. I believe I’ll be back soon. Thanks to the kind staff for this satisfying meal.

The drive-thru? I had enough time to rethink my life choices, check my horoscope, and possibly knit a scarf. One car ahead of me. Thirty minutes later… boom — deliciousness. Not Chick-fil-A fast, but definitely tastier than my patience.

Really good smash style burger, quick service, location is clean and the staff is friendly. Also, the prices are great! First time here so I went with the cheeseburger and added an egg. Next time I’ll try the Big E Burger. Good stuff.

Amazing is an understatement when describing big E’s !!! I can’t stop myself from coming back . I’ve tried a few things on the menu, and I have to say the Atchafalaya fries are undoubtedly my favorite ! Not to mention the great service that comes with the delicious food.
