I was looking for bbq on Memorial Day because I was in from Out of town. I found this place on Yelp. The sausage was big and it tasted good. The mac and cheese was not seasoned and it was just ok. The beans were good even though I ordered greens instead of baked beans but he gave me beans. The ribs were rubbery or chewy. They are not fall off the bones ribs but they were seasoned well.

Food was very good and just after one visit he said we were family. He knew we were first timers gave us some ribs to try and they were delicious. Will definitely be back every 2 weeks on our way by. The is an absolute hidden GEM in the Gem City! Some of the best BBQ I’ve ever had. I got the ribs and chicken with greens and Mac n cheese. The BBQ is flawless. The meat is smokey and the sauce is sweet. Perfect combo and the portions were huge. The greens and Mac were amazing too! There’s a reason this fella was rated the #1 BBQ place in Dayton according to Channel 2. Oh, and he’s a super nice guy too! Go support Big Ed’s!!!!

This is a little food truck that’s worth driving across town for. No kidding! I’ve had ribs all over the country, and these were the best I’ve ever had by far. The sides were great too. Can’t wait to get back here and get another plate!

Soooo, I needed to go to Bid FTA at the new location on Webster Street. While driving by, I noticed a BBQ trailer in the lot next to it, at the corner of Stanley and Webster Street. Since I was already trying to figure out what I was going to eat, I decided to give them a try. The name of the food trailer is Big Ed’s BBQ. There is a pretty extensive menu of BBQ items to choose from; ribs, chicken, polish sausage, steak burgers, etc. There were also sides: mac n’ cheese, potato salad, collard/turnip greens, and macaroni salad. You could do meat only or dinner (entrée w/ 2 sides)

This bbq is a true taste of backhome that I’ve really missed. My fiance tried his brisket and nearly passed out from how good it was I’m not kidding she actually became gravitationally challenged 10/10 will be doing again thank you for what you do.

Perfectly seasoned greens with bits of ham. Potato salad was the best I have ever had besides my Grama! BBQ sauce on the tender pulled pork sandwiches was perfect blend of sweet and spicy!
