Fantastic diner food and friendly staff. I have eaten a lot of diner breakfast but they did it really well here. I especially liked their hash browns and toast.

Whenever I come up here for some road touring, I always try to find time to stop by Big D’s. Their burgers are top notch! Prices are very reasonable for the portions you receive, and the staff is extremely personable. If you’re in the area this place is a must!

First off this place never seems to be open whenever we drive by so when we see it open we decided to stop in and check it out. The first thing we noticed was that they do not accept credit cards so my husband had to go to the gas station and get money from the ATM. While he did that I decided to go in and get a table. Upon entering the diner I was met with stares only no hello, no welcome, not even a sit wherever you’d like. I stood there for a moment waiting and no one acknowledged me so I walked closer to the counter and a waitress then said go ahead and sit wherever. After I sat my spouse joined me and we ordered. The meal came quick enough and the meal was ok but the atmosphere of the place left something to be desired.

Food was good the last few times I stopped not the best breakfast in the world but a good “something different” to get every now and then. Decided I’d stop by at 115pm on a Friday for lunch since their hours say they’re open till 2pm and they would be closed the next few days. When I walked in as people were leaving the restaurant and said “I think they’re closing” so I asked the waitresses if they were still opened to which they said “were closing” I said online your hours say you’re open till 2 are those hours wrong?” They told me those hours are correct… I could understand starting to close up 10-15 minutes before closing but 45 minutes early for diner food is a bit ridiculous. Wasted 30 minutes driving there for them to be closed. Will not be back!

Great breakfast and burgers. Staff is nice and food is well cooked with large portions. Friendly reminder this place is CASH ONLY, I had to run to the ATM at the gas station next door. *Edit* I don’t bother trying to come here anymore because half the time they close early or don’t open at all. Not worth the disappointment. Call ahead to make sure they will actually be open during their posted business hours

My husband and I stopped at Big D’s for breakfast before our roadtrip a couple days ago. It was our first time there and let me tell you, it was absolutely delicious!! We will definitely make it a point to return when we are in Pickford again. The staff was kind as well.
