It has great flavor and what I got was good. However, the portion for the price was terrible. The sandwich was A La Carte which means a side would’ve been anywhere from 3.99-5.99 ♀️.

Very good food just what my taste buds ordered. The Brownie Sandwich (outer parts of the smoked pork) took care of that carnivore urge for smoked pork. I really enjoyed the baked beans as well. The staff was polite and friendly

I had the BBQ brisket sandwich which came with two hush puppies. Hush puppies were crunchy and tasty. The sliced brisket was thickly sliced, three strips on a hamburger bun. The brisket was moist and had good flavor and very tender. I tried two of the sauces, South Carolina mustard based and a Memphis sweet and hot. I cut the sandwich in half and considered both to be equal in flavor. Not much heat out of the sweet & hot. That’s a good thing.
The two ladies working were very nice. Service was quick. Ambiance was nice . enough seating for about 25 people. A wide menu as well, including breakfast.
No Nachos though..
I would go back next time I am in the area and ready to eat.

The food was not fresh and tasted like it was put in a microwave. The baked beans tasted like chili and the Mac and cheese tasted like just pasta flavor whatsoever. The ribs I bought were dry much the bones they didn’t slide off of and the chicken was drier than the Sahara desert at its peak drought season. The hashbrowns were smaller than a squirrels testicle and tasted like nothing but batter. The fountain drinks were fine though. No complaints there. Very cold and they filled my large cup up to then rim with ice.

Somehow for the price, I guess I had expectations of hot food. My chopped beef, brisket was ice cold the mac & cheese was ice cold when I took it back and asked for hot. They had me throw away what I had on my plate and gave me new food. The funny thing is, it was colder than the one that I took up. I tried to speak to the cashier who told me that she would talk to her manager, but her manager was not in. My husband ordered a mixed meat platter. He and I could have thrown or hush puppies at the wall and they would’ve bounced off and hit another diner . His food was tepid at best and again the manager would not do anything it was an expensive meal and really really bad food maybe the manager will read this and care about it but as far as anyone at the restaurant went, they didn’t care.

Food is great. Service is not. Three times we have waked in, ordered to go, and waited and waited and waited only to be told our food was ready long ago. The last time we told the lady of our waits and she said she would personally notify us when it was ready. After 25 minutes we approached the window and was told, “Oh, we had this ready a long time ago.” Ribs are awesome but you will have to stand in the kitchen and ask, “Is that mine? Is that mine? Is that mine?” in order to eat them!
