Welcome to Big Door Coffee House, the newest cozy spot in St. Francois County! Here in the heart of Desloge: every cup of our smooth, locally roasted coffee and selection of non-coffee beverages is a gesture of hospitality. We’re more than a coffee shop—our nonprofit mission allows us to support the community through local partnerships, a giveback program, and our Better Together Blend, which donates a portion of proceeds each quarter to local nonprofits. Enjoy a warm atmosphere, friendly service, and community-building events. Our space is open to you for working, studying, playing a game with friends and family, or hosting a small group meet-up. Let’s make St. Francois County – Better Together – one cup at a time!

Morning treat for my kiddos before school turned into a blessing at Big Door Coffee House. Good luck finding something on the menu you don’t want to try.
We loved Da Sweetie, Gigi and Valentines Special Strawberry Hot Chocolate with glittery cherry sprinkles. Their flavored syrups made in house will make you stand up and sing HALLELUJAH!
The tasty morsels were just as delicious, and difficult to choose from. Cake pops, protein balls, egg bites! We each chose a different muffin to try and they did not disappoint! Pistachio! Blueberry! Double Chocolate! I wish we had a fourth so we could have tried the Crunch muffin.
These ladies blessed us this morning! Kind and beautiful, inside and out! Thank you so much for bringing THIS business to our community. You have made a life-long patron ☕️

My favorite place!! I’ve tried most of the menu and it’s all delicious!
Gluten free options!?! The protein balls are amazing and the mocha monster (requested gluten free) is 100% my favorite!
The staff are the friendliest people you’ll ever meet! If you’re a student like me, the yellow chairs work miracles for papers!

The Big Door Coffee House is aptly named—not just for its charming physical door, but for the incredibly welcoming, cozy atmosphere that greets you the moment you step inside. That door needs to be big to accommodate all the regulars, coffee explorers, and wanderers who are lucky enough to find their way to this gem tucked along the railroad in Desloge.
The customer service? Beyond 5 stars. I watched a customer ahead of me order a drink, and the barista told them, “Taste it—if it’s not right, we’ll make you another.” That kind of care and attention is rare and priceless.
I ordered the Hot Gigi, and it was perfection—silky, flavorful, and soul-soothing.
They set out to create a coffee house—not just a shop with a drive-thru—and they absolutely nailed it. It’s a space to gather, connect, and slow down.
Bring a book and find a cozy nook, or grab your friends and celebrate life together. Either way, this is a must-stop spot that warms more than just your cup. ☕️❤️

What a perfect little gem of a coffee shop! Fantastic drinks (with house-made syrups!!), welcoming and comfortable atmosphere, and the owners and staff are beyond wonderful. It feels like a giant hug just being there.

The coffee is far more delicious than any other in the area. The atmosphere is so cozy, peaceful, and inviting! My favorite place to sit down and relax with a friend or answer some emails. The workers are so so kind. Definitely my new favorite place!!

It’s such a cute, cozy coffee shop! Amy and Jason are such amazing people doing big things!! We tried different drinks and they are all so good! I can’t wait to come back again! I got the mocha cold brew. Very very good!
