Rated against other BBQ joints who love dogs!
Been here enough that our dog is on the photo board! Their brisket is the best in town, and the rest of the items are good to great. Their chips are a crisp, thin, mouthful of flavor.

Stopped in for a solo early dinner while I’m in town for a couple days, came for the fried pickles and loved them! The Reuben was also delicious, just what I wanted. I also got gifted some deviled eggs to try from their upcoming brunch menu that starts January first and those were amazing as well!

I really enjoy this place. The staff were super friendly and kept checking in to make sure I had everything I needed. The vibe is relaxed and perfect for hanging out with friends while enjoying a really good meal. The best part was the pulled brisket sandwich with grilled onions and crunchy fried onions served with homemade fries…. Simply amazing. I would definitely go back and highly recommend this place

After a Thursday night baseball game for my middle school son, we decided to try Big Dawgs. We’d brought our new puppy with us to the game and needed a pet friendly place for dinner. Not only was Big Dawg’s accommodating, they had a wall of fame for dogs. Misty, our server, was as personable and warm as could be and very attentive to not only my families needs, but our dog’s needs as well. We sat outside on the patio which was shaded and had plenty of yard/tailgate type games to play. And the food was really, really good. I got the burger with chopped pork BBQ on top and the Smokey flavor of the meet and the BBQ sauce was out of this world good. Honestly, we just wanted a place that would accommodate our dog and we ended up having some of the best burgers we’ve ever had. The French fries were amazing – super flavorful with the skin on and perfectly seasoned. I’d highly recommend this place for the food, but if you have a pet, they are also welcomed and well cared for. Five stars.

A true hidden gem! If you’re ever in College Station or Bryan, this place is a must-stop. We were craving barbecue on our way out and found it thanks to Google reviews and it absolutely did not disappoint. The portions are huge and everything was delicious. We tried the chili, the Big Dawg bowl, and the kids’ cheeseburger (which was a great size on its own). The brisket was incredibly tender, the mac and cheese had great flavor, and the chili was spot on—10/10 all around.
We even brought our pups, and the staff was so kind that their pictures are now on the wall. The inside was clean, cute, and welcoming, and the customer service was excellent. You’ll seriously miss out if you don’t stop here. Highly recommend!

Our experience here was absolutely the best!! From the moment we walked, we were greeted by the most amazing staff! The food was absolutely to die for. Our plates were full of so much food and it was fantastic. We left full and even had some to take home!! I also highly suggest the Starry Night Sour (bourbon) it was not only delicious but probably the prettiest drink I’ve ever had.

Food was bland. No flavor at all. I ordered the kitchen sink to try all the meats. The brisket wasn’t even a slice but something like chopped up no smoke or seasoning. Pulled pork was decient. The chicken was boneless skinless thighs that had no seasoning. The sausage was ehh I’ve had so much better. Potatoes salad needed salt and pepper but was good after that. Definitely it was the best thing on the plate. The Georgia baked beans were not good. Nobody in Georgia eats black beans in their baked beans. You can bring your dog with is ok for dog owners. The server was super nice.

This was our first time to eat here. We were greeted by our server Callie as soon as walked in and received very prompt service. We didn’t wait very long for our food either!
The menu had something for everyone and our food was excellent. The French fries were hand cut and fresh and the meat was very tender. It was a great first experience!

Visiting the town and glad we found Big Dawg’s. Food was spectacular and Diana provided amazing service. We tried numerous items (brisket, sausage, brisket philly cheese steak, wings) and all were perfect! I’ve had smoked wings at numerous other BBQ restaurants, but the balance of smokiness and flavor here were second to none.
Will definitely be back the next time we are in the area.

I stopped in for a late lunch and was pleasantly surprised. The staff here is genuinely friendly, the food is delicious, and the beer is solid. Honestly, that checks all the boxes for me.
I had the blackened blue burger, and it was excellent, just the right amount of blue cheese on a flame-broiled patty. The mac and cheese was very good, and the wings hit that perfect balance between crispy and juicy, with a great touch of smokiness. If I had one suggestion, it’d be to expand the sauce selection. Something bolder or spicier, like a garlic habanero blend that kicks up the heat would take it to the next level. Still, I’d absolutely order them again.
I didn’t dive deep into the beer selection, but they had Yellow Rose IPA, which is always a dependable choice.
One big standout for me was the kids meals. The price was just right, and each kid got a man sized burger, more than they could handle! They also have a little outdoor area with cornhole, Connect 4, and jumbo checkers (though a few pieces were missing).
All in all, great experience. Keep up the good work, I’ll definitely be back to give the bbq a try!
