We went on a Friday and this place was busy so you know it’s good. We were seated promptly and had to wait just a little bit for someone to come get our drink order but as soon as our drinks arrived the server was there to get our order. Everyone was very nice and attentive. The food was very tasty and the steak was tender. There was so much food we couldn’t eat it all and took it home. The only thing I would suggest is to change the lights in the salad bar as it did look like the veggies were a little color distorted. But we liked it and will come back.

Absolutely delicious! Old school country style seafood restaurant! Everything we had was awesome. Fried lobster tails, fried soft shell crab, lobster bisque, fish, shrimp, scallops, oysters, they were all great! Salad bar is an all you can eat and my wife loved it. Big Daddy’s Restaurant & Oyster Bar is an absolute gem! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and an inviting atmosphere. The seafood is incredibly fresh — the oysters were some of the best I’ve ever had, perfectly chilled and bursting with flavor. Every dish was cooked to perfection, from the steak to the lobster it was perfectly seasoned. The drinks were spot on, and the service was fast, friendly, and attentive without being overbearing. You can tell the staff truly cares about providing a great dining experience. Whether you’re a seafood lover or just looking for a fun, laid-back place to eat. I’ll definitely be coming back again and again!

I had very high hopes for this place considering it is packed out almost every night that I drive past. We waited for over 15 minutes to get a seat at the oyster bar until finally the hostess called to the other hostesses (weird) on the radio and found out they missed our request to be seated. The oyster bar was barely 25% full while we were waiting. Once seated we ordered oyster Rockefeller and it was made with those cheap bacon bits from a bag at the store. Very little flavor and not worth trying. We got 12 steamed oysters and they tasted fine but we were served on an old warped plastic tray with foam cups containing all of our dips. Finally we ordered fried shrimp and the catch of the day. My shrimp was fine but didn’t have a lot of flavor and had a bit of an off taste like it may be frozen. The catch of the day was a similar story. Not much flavor with a slight off taste. The service was just fine and the atmosphere was extremely dated, dingy, and felt dirty even though it may not be. Overall I was pretty disappointed and while nothing was bad, it didn’t really impress me. I wouldn’t go back considering that meal for two cost over $130 after tip.

Atmosphere: Dark and gloomy with an overall eerie vibe. Very dated and old fashioned. Feels like something from the 60’s.
Service: Nothing to complain about here. Our waitress was well mannered, timely, and answered all our questions politely.
Food: Food was very mediocre, and honestly this is what killed our experience. Super over priced for what you get. Me and my girl both had a steak with shrimp. Steak was super dainty and tasteless while also being very bitter from the burnt exterior after grilling. Bland unseasoned shrimp, and lack luster in the flavor department. Felt very institutional. Really hit home when they smacked a 108 dollar check on table for 2 dinners and 1 drink since I drink water.
Overall I just wasn’t satisfied when I can go to longhorn and have a great experience in a modernized establishment for 60-70 bucks. The price is this places’ biggest downfall.

This was the first time my husband and I ate here. The food was DELICIOUS! That ribeye steak was cooked to pure perfection Our waitress was super nice and got everything we needed fast. The timing for the food was also perfect. We had enough time to enjoy our salad, then nibble on some hush puppies before our main course came out. I’ve been to a lot of steakhouses and just let me tell you this steak by far beat all of them! I was expecting and willing to pay 100+ dollars, but when the check came, I was Super surprised that it was lower than that!

This was our first time stopping in to eat here and was pleasantly surprised. I have heard a lot of good things about this place and wanted to see for myself if it lived up to all the hype. We got in and got seated really quick. The staff was nothing but nice and informative. We ordered a couple drinks and an appetizer and it was no time till they arrived at our table. It seemed like as soon as we was done with our appetizer our meals came. You couldn’t ask for better service and the food was delicious. If you are in the area it definitely worth a visit.

Excellent waitress and the food was well-cooked. Hush puppies are fried lightly and not greasy like some places. Everything was very clean.
The only suggestion I have is the blackened grouper and halibut had extremely light seasoning, could’ve used a good bit more and they would’ve been perfect.
