Very simple pizza joint. It kind of gave off Little Caesars Pizza Lobby Vibe when I walked in, but holy cow, the pizza is light years ahead of anything Little Caesars has ever put out. Heck, I would say it beats domino’s, Papa john’s, and any other pizza place you could probably think of for this price point. In my opinion, it’s greatest strength is its crust. The crust is not too gummy or fluffy, nor is it too thin. It’s just right such that it serves as a good medium to deliver the goodies atop the pizza. Definitely making this place my local go-to for pizza night

The BBQ chicken pizza tasted good but the BBQ sauce was a little overbearing. I’m thinking I should have tried something else because definitely wasn’t worth the $18.94 for their smallest size, 12 inch pizza in my opinion. For example, the 18 inch $9.99 pizza from costco was better. Was fun to try a new place with a cool name though!

I ordered online, and in advance, the pizza still arrived 20 minutes late. It looked like it had been thrown off a bridge when it arrived. See the attached photo. The more I thought about it, I worry that the pizza actually fell out of the box in the backseat of the driver’s car and he threw it back together to complete the delivery. But because the pizza was presumably on the floor in the back seat of his car, I didn’t feel safe eating it. I do not recommend this place.

We used to really enjoy this place. We found out they have new owners so we hoped for the same great product. We were sure disappointed. Not only have their prices gone up a lot, the product is poor quality.
The chicken wings were mostly fat. Hardly any chicken. They were almost inedible!! The cheese sticks didn’t have much cheese or flavor. They were bland. The pepperoni pizza was just okay. The crust seems so flat and like it was bought and not made in store.
Very disappointed in the quality of the products.

Great pizza! We got the bbq chicken and it is delicious. I told my husband “you can taste the love” it was made FRESH for us. No hot and ready garbage – made fresh and still decently quick! Fun place to hangout while you wait too. Fair pricing and great customer service.

Dang! This place used to be great. It must be under new ownership. We have bought a dozen or so pizzas from this place in the past, and loved them, but it has been a year since the last time. Ordered a Granddaddy yesterday and it was terrible. Ordered extra cheese, and 5 toppings. There was very little cheese, and maybe 5 total toppings. For a 26 inch pizza! My kids complained that I didn’t order pepperoni, which I did. We found 5 total slices of pepperoni, so most pieces didn’t have any. The dough is now bland, and the sauce is missing the flavor it once had.
I am sad to see my previously favorite pizza become this horrible. I rank it below Little Caesars now, below Dominos, and even below Totino’s frozen pizzas. We had 7 people over for the pizza and there were a bunch of leftovers. Most people had 1 and were done, and each person complained about the poor quality, bland flavor, and lack of cheese and toppings.
So very sad.

We’ve eaten Big Daddy’s Pizza, nearly every Friday night, for the past 7 years. At one point a year or two ago I calculated out that we’d easily spent over $4500 at Big Daddy’s since we’d discovered them. We’ve stuck with them through multiple workers and owners (Edwin and the Himilayan dude being the coolest by far). I’ve recommended them to just about everyone I’ve ever talked pizza with. They’ve been my go-to pizza place for years. They earned that spot with their prices, portions, and friendliness (though order accuracy wasn’t always quite spot on).
Today that stops.
We had switched over to Costco pizzas when the new owners closed the shop down for renovations and we were excited to find out that they had reopened. Tonight I eagerly ordered our usual order of 3 pizzas and was SHOCKED to be given a price nearly DOUBLE what we normally pay ($54 vs our normal $28-$32 depending on toppings). Inflation is bad, but not THAT bad.. yet (thanks Biden).
I made some adjustments and ordered 2 express pizzas instead of the ‘custom’ ones I’d wanted (double pepperoni, extra cheese) plus one custom one. The total came out to about $32.
I arrived at the shop and was greeted with the new look. Not bad. I picked up the pizzas and thought they looked kinda small. When I got them home the first thing my wife said was “Wait, why are those so small?”
They are small. The new ‘normal’ size is tiny, nearly a personal pan. If I were really hungry I could eat a whole pizza by myself. The generosity of Big Daddy’s is dead. These are gourmet prices for a step above Little Cesar’s quality. I think, but am not sure, that they taste about the same as before. But the value is gone. At these prices you’d be better off going to Marcos, Village Baker, or The Pie.
I’m really bummed to have to go back to Costco’s pizzas, but these prices are way too high and portions are way too small.

Excellent Pizza tonight from Big Daddys! The staff was friendly and attentive and we got our order very quickly. There was still a little wait only because the pizza made ready order and fresh and doesn’t sit in the warming ovens like some other “Hot’N’Ready” places. The cheese is excellent and the slices really do fill you up. Big Daddy’s offers a nice little selection of beverages as well as sharables and dessert. I highly recommend Big Daddy’s for your pizza needs!

This pizza tastes like generic frozen pizza at triple the cost. You are better off ordering from literally any other pizza place. The pizza size to price ratio for this place is outrageous.

Hands down the best pizza I’ve had in Utah county. I’ve tried every pizza in the county and this has to be the best pizza for sure! The fresas con crema are amazing! Definitely give it a try if you’re in pleasant grove.
