So glad we found this place! As we were passing through town we seen this spot and decided to try it. The food and customer service was GREAT! We got the mushroom cheese steak and the Felix cheese steak regular sized sandwiches and loved both. The portions were very generous and we left so full. We didn’t get a picture because we ate it and forgot.

Fantastic cheese steak. Loaded with freshly shaved steak, cooper sharp, on an wonderfull roll which is similar to amaroso. Not too dense, not too airy. Perfect chew. $24 for the large is worth it if your hungry. I can eat, and I ended up taking half home like a quitter. Definitely must try if you’re in the area or even want a little destination road trip.

I had a Pepper Cheesesteak with extra cheese and it was the best sandwich I’ve had in ages!
The decor of the place is warm and inviting. They have a wall covered in achievements and family pictures it’s really nice. Can’t wait to he back and bring some friends over to try these delicious sandwiches!

I own a Bakery in Idyllwild and know Quality when I see and taste it! I have been buying Big Daddy’s for a while now but I added the peppers to my Sub today and omg! I never knew their Sub could get better. I love supporting Mom and Pop businesses and this is by far my husband and my favorite Sandwich Shop.

OMG-a legit Philly cheesesteak in California! Came by accident. Got routed here looking for a Rueben or a Patty Melt, but this is PCS only.
This is a family owned business. It will cost you about 10 minutes of your time for about 10 minutes of deliciousness. Tourists always talked about Pats or Geno’s when I went to Philly to be a tourist from upstate New York. This place is legit, not a tourist trap. It’s gonna cost you around $13 bucks for a 6 inch. Mom had a classic #1, I had that plus mushrooms.
I love, love, love, supporting local businesses-the bonus here is that it’s 3rd generation working in the shop. Beautiful mom in the kitchen and son at the register. We need to support local, not just big corporate restaurants.
Bread is fresh. Meat is on point. Sautéed onions perfect. If you want extra cheese or “whiz” ask for the nacho cheese. Same but better than whiz.
This will be my new go to for a great sandwich!!
Ten stars

$23 for a sandwich. Nothing special about the sandwich. The soda machine was out of order and they had no ice. Looks like they need to change the oil in the fryer, as the French fries were dark. Don’t waste your money here.

Make sure you check the hours, but this is sincerely the best cheesesteak I have had in a long time, let alone in the area. Might be my favorite restaurant in general. The sweet potato fries are excellent too, if that is your thing.

My fiance brought me here, and I’m so glad he did. This is what my life has been missing! I ordered the peppered philly cheese steak sandwich. It was the best philly cheese steak sandwich I’ve had in my whole life. You can get spicy peppers on the side, and they are such a perfect compliment to the sandwich. I took those peppers and covered the top of my sandwich with them. The staff was super friendly, and welcoming. They rock here! I love the decor, and memorabilia. Very awesome experience, all around! I definitely recommend this place!
