The server and the fries were the only good things. I Had the Pitmaster sandwich. The pulled pork tasted just like the burger patty…that is no flavor whatsoever. The only flavor on the sandwich was the BBQ sauce I had to dip it in to choke it down. Got a banana pudding dessert to go, the pudding was gelled and not at all good, threw it out. All the signs for this place around the mall make it look awesome, but certainly not tonight.

When I tasted them , they had been tossed in bbq sauce and buffalo sauce and the portions we’re smaller. The waitress told us that the restaurant was under new management and you can definitely tell. The place usually has quite a few customers and it was dead tonight. I will not be going back.

We stopped in around 6:15 on a Friday night and the place was far from busy. We ordered the fried pickles which were awful. They were greasy and the breading was terrible. I asked the waiter about the “big daddy ale” and where it was brewed, he skipped past my question and said it was like a “miller lite” and was a lager. I was hard pressed to believe that an ale on the menu could be like a lager but I said I would try it. He claimed he had tried a few glasses of it and liked it. Obviously he had never had it and had zero knowledge of beer. I’m ok if a server doesn’t know as long as they admit it and try to offer something they do know. It came out dark and like an ale, the complete opposite of what he claimed. We then waited over an hour for a burger and wings. We sat there wondering when our waiter would come back and he didn’t show up for 45 minutes straight. My beer was empty and we had a full order of nasty fried pickles waiting to be dealt with and he never took care of any of it. Finally he came back and claimed it was his first day and that he “forgot to hit send” on our order and he never put in our food. After another 45 minute wait they brought out our food that was mediocre at best. Overall this place was a flop and the management team is failing the worst out of anyone. It’s there job to make sure these servers know their stuff and they screwed up.

Wow the food was great! The whole southern theme kinda set the mood of me being back home in TN! However, this was the worse service I’ve ever had! Took about 2hrs to get our order brought out. The waiter spent most of her time in the back corner of the restaurant talking amongst her fellow coworkers as my glass of sweet tea went empty, she wasn’t around to get a refill. The sweet tea wasn’t sweet either it was also horrible but I was thirsty so I drank it. We asked for the checks and received them in a bout 30 mins, and again our waiter was talking amongst her fellow coworkers.
When we received our checks, she to so long to process our payment that we literally had to go and find her and hand her our payment! That’s (bleeping) obsurd! While the food was good, the tea was bad, and the service was worse. I think the tea may have been better than the actual service.

The service was great. My thing is the APPLE COLESLAW! It was/ awful…no taste, no seasoning, just mayo and a few pieces of apple. NOT COLESLAW…You can do better. The ribs and cornbread were good. The fries with the oil & cheese were not crispy hot and cheese was melted. I will probably not eat there again.

First time here, mentioned in passing our less than satisfactory experience at the theatre as we walked into Big Daddy’s. A Miss Erica approached us at our table concerned about our lack of service at the theatre. She went above and beyond to make sure our Big Daddy service was exceptional! The food is great, the service is awesome, we highly recommend dining here and will be returning!!

We have visited twice now. Ribs both times. Side of fries and cornbread.
Ribs are the best I’ve had anywhere, and I’ve had a lot of ribs. I haven’t tried most of the sides but the fries (with sea salt and chives) and the cornbread are very good.
Service is friendly and good and fast.
Try the ribs, they’re doing a great job on the rub, the sauce, and the cook.

Love the wedge salad! Everything tasted really good especially the corn bread, Brussels sprouts and ribs. They weren’t busy and the waiter forgot about us, unfortunately. So five stars for food, but service wasn’t great.

Food was terrible. We got the “Feeding Frenzy” which came with ribs, pulled pork,chicken, rib tips corn bread, and baked beans. The rib tips and ribs were not even edible. Tough, pink and hard as nails. Half of the chicken was pink and nasty. The baked means and corn was was delicious but when your main dishes suck the whole meal sucks. I will never eat here again.

I like that they connected the restaurant to Ipic. Since this place is so new I will give it a few more chances. My sandwich could have been hotter. I had the blue cheese potatoes for a side dish and they had absolutely no flavor. So with some tweaking I’m hoping they can pull it together as a new “go to” place for bbq. Oh, the little girls with the hot pants can go. This is not Hooters!
