The food at either location comes out hot/fresh and Will have your entire car reeking of good barbecue, but nonetheless went in today.
I got the blue velvet cake as I always do thought about it as my birthday is coming up and I’m like you know what let me just see about ordering a full one cake
So that led me contracting the office and I had a request name Miss Paulette in the office.
I didn’t had to call back as the other number that I was given, did not work. I then spoke to Miss Paulette herself, and I must say she was beyond professional precise got me. Everything I needed was kind understanding that’s hard to find today in any office society because there’s so much coming down on them, but this lady held it down for the company she needs to raise a my book! Any location you go to their mad professional and just welcoming but I have to speak on the one also on cypress. The young lady answer the phone every time as if she’s at a Laura office they dress nice the staff is clean they’re welcoming so make sure I include that try either one my favorite is cypress, but I love them all!

Just stopped by for real bbq while driving through Winter Haven and found Big Daddy’s BBQ. This place has great food. Fried catfish and fried shrimp were delicious The brisket was very good too. We also tried their mac-n-cheese which was off the chain and Sooo good!! Staff was nice and friendly.

My cashier, JV, was friendly and informative of the menu, and my referrer, Mario, a cook at the joint, was proud to see me, as promised I would come by the weekend after I drove him. He had previously told me the oxtail on the menu was Caribbean style, so in my mind I had hints of allspice and island seasonings with a lighter brown sauce already dancing on my tongue’s imagination.
Yeah… It was a familiar Black American style, souped up with thick gravy. I ordered the bowl with yellow rice, which absolutely disappeared under the oxtail, so shout-out to portioning but I don’t think I will order it again, at least not the bowl. It wasn’t bad, but there’s something about food that’s just eh ♂️ that makes an experience wanting for more. Maybe the dinner with cabbage would be better, but the oxtail flavor itself just wasn’t as described.
For my brother, I ordered the 1/2 slab dinner. This I enjoyed more of, but I think I’ll have to go back and ask for a sauce other than sweet to really see what they’re cookin with. It came with two sides — small bagged French fries and two wrapped muffins of corn bread were chosen. Nothing to write home about with either other than they were packaged well and I wish there had been more fries.
Overall, for the price, I think I would be able to get better flavors out at Pete’s Famous BBQ in Pine Hills, but maybe that’s a bias from family references, local loyalty, and repeat purchases there. I do think the waiting area is chill and hope to come by on a cool day to order something else off the menu and try their outdoor seating.

Honestly, I’ve been eating her almost everytime I’ve been in town over the last 8 or more years. I love the drive thru aspect, I called an order in tonight: •BBQ Rib Dinner with macaroni and cheese, collard greens, extra corn muffins and, a slice of blue velvet cake. The ribs are so tender and flavorful. The macaroni and cheese was cheesy all through it and its never been dry. The greens, I devoured first with cornbread busted into them in chunks, as I ate. The cake-Is almost a guilty sin. I’ve ordered this Blue Velvet before just by itself randomly. It’s always more than you can expect for, when you’re ordering here. The flavors and experience you remembered to be so great, seem better each time you experience them! I definitely recommend to anyone!

I finished a listing appointment in Winter Haven and was rather hungry when I came across a little bbq joint on the side of the road. It looked small and old, so I knew the food would be amazing. A young lady politely helped me order, I had no ideas about the various combos, and I got the catfish and shrimp with hush puppies. It didn’t take long to receive the freshly cooked food. The Florida “winter” weather was perfect for the outdoor seating, which was simple, screened in, and clean. The food was delicious. They even gave me some extra free fries! They gave me plenty of tarter sauce and ketchup as well. I would definitely recommend this place if you’re in the area. I’m the middle of summer, it’s probably best to order and take away I am guessing. Well done all. A very good experience.

What a hidden gem! We stopped by here on a whim, and we were so pleasantly surprised! There service was awesome and the food was even awesome-er!! A bit pricey, but good nonetheless!

Food was so good. The lady that took our large order (family of 5) was so polite. Mango lemonade a little 2 sweet for me but the rest of family loved it. Order took awhile to get made, but we didn’t know to call in order early, regardless the food was worth the wait.
