This is the nicest surprise on our road trip! This diner is super clean, smells clean and has nice restrooms. The food is fantastic. I really mean Fantastic absolutely delicious! All fresh and local. The water even tastes good! The owner/chef/awesome dude had no problem accommodating my non dairy request. The service was prompt and friendly. They play good music! Great place to stop for breakfast or lunch. Also wheelchair friendly!

Been there twice, both times I’ve ordered the pastrami dip, both times I haven’t gotten what the menu states is on or comes with the sandwich. First time I came at dinner, didn’t get the garlic fries it says it comes with, Second time I get mushrooms in the sandwich and no au jus. I’m not saying the food is bad, I’m just confused why both time I’ve gone there its never been right. And yes i did say something the first time because I was dining in, now the second time I didn’t cause it was takeout, didn’t feel the need to drive 20 mins back from work during lunch. Food tastes good, just everyone please check your orders before you leave the restaurant if takeout. Might be my fault for not checking while there, or if they just don’t know their menuu, idk man.

Cute, cozy and delicious! Owned by a Husband and wife team and they just ROCK it! Best burger I’ve had in a LONG time! Crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside! The sasquatch sauce is to DIE for! My son who “wasn’t hangry” ate his whole burger and raved the entire time.
If we are ever in town again, we will DEFINITELY be back!! ❤️

Came in with my dad during lunch,always wanted to try this place finally got to the chance to and boy am I glad I did, the food was fantastic, my dad’s vegetarian and I was worried they wouldn’t have any options but Chris and his wife we’re awesome they assured me they could make anything on the menu vegetarian within reason! I had the pastrami and this sandwich was hands down the best pastrami in all of oregon! Definitely make sure to stop in and get some good food!

Went for the Friday night Prime Rib dinner. Friendly, prompt service, prime rib was excellent and everyone received their preferred cut from rare to well done.
Prime rib is usually a challenge for my husband as he doesnt like rare meat. They took care to give him a cut that was just to his liking.
It would be nice to see the community support these new owners, we will definitely be back. The restaurant has a lot of historical character and at the same time was very clean.

The absolute BEST food in southern Douglas County and the BEST owners running it too! They have the most delicious prime rib dinners every Friday and the rest of their menu is as equally delicious. You’ll be sorely disappointed if you don’t stop in soon for a bite to eat and a visit!

The burger was cooked perfectly, and the fries were outstanding. Every bite was packed with flavor, not just your average meal.
The place is filled floor to ceiling with genuine old logging tools and gear, a true tribute to the town’s history.
The new owners are good people. Jenna was wonderful with our daughter, who now wants to have her 11th birthday there. That says a lot.
Hidden gem would be the best way I can describe it.

Breakfast burger and real corned beef hash for the win! This was a nice little spot just off I5. There is plenty of parking for our truck & and trailer, too. The place was clean and the service was great!
07/12/2025 – Stopped in for another breakfast burger. The restaurant has moved to an awesome building with lots of history in town. Definitely worth the extra drive and they still have plenty of parking for RV or trucj/trailer.
