This place is a true hole in the wall mom and pop black business. As I walked into the restaurant, I was met with the aroma of fresh smoking meats and a warm smile. I wish that I had stopped by last year to have a great meal all summer long. The rib tips are so tender that they melt in your mouth.

Listen… Big Daddy BBQ in Reynoldsburg had me out here questioning my life choices. Those wings tasted like they took a bath in the same grease they’ve been using since the Obama administration. Refried old chicken? Baby, they were re‑traumatized. The grease had history, trauma, and a storyline of its own.
The mac and cheese? Looked me dead in my face and said, “I’m just here so I don’t get fined.”
The greens? Water with ambition.
The red beans and rice? Just throw the whole plate in trash.
But the cornbread? Oh, the cornbread was the Beyoncé of the whole plate—soft, golden, and carrying the entire group on its back like Destiny’s Child in 2001.
Then look at the presentation foam melted and rubberbanded close.

This was my very first time ordering from Big Daddy Que. I ordered 6 pieces of fried chicken wings, Mac n cheese and red beans & rice for the soles. Wow! The chicken was perfectly seasoned and the sides were just right. I didn’t finish my food lol. I will be coming back for more soon. Thank you.

They have some amazing food! The staff is nice and the restaurant is clean. I ordered the 3 ribs with sauce on the side, the lil daddy pulled pork sandwich, the Mac and cheese, baked beans and the greens. The food was delicious ! My favorite was the Pulled Pork and the Greens. The food had the perfect amount of smoky flavor. I ate the greens so fast I forgot to take a picture outside of the plastic. I really liked the way they wrapped the wet sides so they don’t spill. The ribs were also huge. I will definitely be back!

Really a hidden gem, the kind you have to try hundreds of little places before finding out the locals knew it and weren’t gonna say nothing. Fried pork chop sandwich made my wife who grew up in Georgia tear up. Had to order several to go as we live outta town. I am more of a brisket guy. It was huge,and tasty.

This was the first time that I’ve come to this restaurant. The staff was extremely nice, the baby was so adorable and also made a point of greeting us. While there they gave us a chicken wing to try and BAYBEEEEE I immediately placed an order. It had the right amount of crunch, was soooo juicy, and had a little bit of spice on the back end. I will be coming back there before I go home to Florida to get some for the plane ride.

Awesome food, service, and atmosphere. We are not from the area and after going to an art exhibition a few miles away we were looking for somewhere to eat. A quick Google search and this place was at the top of the list and I am very glad it was. Anyone who enjoys BBQ needs to give this restaurant a visit at least once. Good BBQ isn’t made in a hurry, and we visited on an Easter Sunday. The food was delicious and the staff was extremely friendly. The young man running the cash register appeared to be in his early teens, but was especially professional and after telling us there was going to be a 10 minute wait for the rack of ribs we ordered he apologized and offered to throw in an extra side of greens to make up for our wait. Unnecessary, but greatly appreciated.

Currently in the middle of doing carnivore diet which makes eating out a pain. What to do but find some q! I’m generally a huge brisket fan and expected that to be my favorite but I’ll just say it was alright. HOWEVER, the ribs? That wing? I’ll be back for them alone. Cause of doing the carnivore thing I couldn’t do sauces and am sure they’d make a difference so my review is based on the flavor of the meat and the meat alone.
Come check them out – I’d say pretty worthwhile!
