Visited the area for hiking and ended up here for breakfast every morning. Machacado Beef and Chilaquiles Plate is amazing and unique. Also the Pick 4 is a good traditional breakfast. Coffee was good. Parking easy. Bathrooms clean.

The service was great, the tortillas were homemade and delicious. Our server was fantastic. The steak in my combo fajitas was extremely tender and very tasty. That seems hard to come by now days. I highly recommend the queso with the taco meat, guacamole, sour cream, and Pico de gallo in it. The chips were awesome also.

Its sunday lunch. Busy but not crowded. Rustic decor with lots of pics of cowboys, guns and antlers. Great use of old kegs made into bar stools. I ate a BLT that used the cripsiest bacon. I like to add fresh avocado. So yummy. My server was Josie and she was wonderful! Super friendly, hometown feel.

Stayed in Glen rose for a couple of days celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary. Had lunch one day and breakfast the next and neither time disappointed! Great food, great service and reasonably priced! And they’re not lying about having the biggest biscuits in Texas sooo good!

I’m not exactly sure what has happened with this place but we go here quite often and it has steadily gone downhill. Today we were quickly seated and quickly given our drinks and quickly were able to give our food order but then it took 40 minutes for a simple omelette and club sandwich to be brought to our table. The omelette was room temperature and then our waiter disappeared until he brought the check. Two other couples in the restaurant were furious with the same service and one of those couples got up and left because it took so long for their food to be brought out. It’s really sad, we love this place, but we definitely will not be back near as often if at all.

Stopped in after a doctor’s appointment
Was really disappointed that they didn’t have Hollandaise sauce ready for eggs Benedict, which is kind of why we went, but we were not disappointed in what we ordered!
Everything was fresh, hot coffee and water was always full
The biscuit lasted me at least 5 days after I brought it home!!!

We have passed by the big cup so many times! Stopped in last time through glen rose and was absolutely blown away! Breakfast all day. Hand battered chicken fried steak, eggs cooked medium well and the biggest biscuit I have ever seen. Food was delicious served hot and fresh. Such a great meal at the right price! Big Cup is our every time stop when in glen rose! Burger was so delicious !

Stopped in to try and find something new for breakfast (and anything actually open on Sunday morning). Drove 40 minutes to try it out, and it was worth it.
Friendly staff, clean tables, quiet enough to talk.
Blueberry pancakes were very tasty, and actually cooked all the way through. Batter tasted like it was homemade. Eggs tasted like they were farm fresh.
Egg enchiladas were very good. I was not sure what to expect, but was pleasantly surprised. I just wish there had been some spicy salsa or some cremosa.
Breakfast taco was huge. Much larger than I was expected. Very tasty. Again, it just needed some spicy salsa or cremosa.
Definitely a place to come back too.

My husband and I have were in town for the weekend. We didn’t want to go anywhere fancy for Valentines Day, so we came here. My husband got a cheeseburger and he said it was very good, just needed more seasoning. I got the trio fajitas. They were just okay. I’m not sure what they seasoned the chicken with but I didn’t care for it. The shrimp were tiny tiny, but seasoned well. The beef was pretty tender and was the best of the 3. Rice was fine. Charro beans were delicious. I would get again if I were there but I would get just the beef.
