✨ First visit and overall I enjoyed the ambiance and food here. Our server, Ariana was very polite and hospitable.
Impromptu dinner outing on a Sunday evening. Not crowded and we sat at a high top table. The crab boil we ordered with medium spice was seasoned just right! Also, it was just enough food for two. We even had room for dessert. The chocolate cake was very sweet – too sweet- but at least it came with ice cream. Looking forward to returning when in the area.

The food was barely seasoned. I had to season my food myself and they tack on 12 percent gratuity at 5 o’clock in the afternoon I purchased 3 things and paid 126 when it should’ve been less than 100 as per their menu prices. I’ll never support this restaurant again !!!!

Everyone was friendly and they didn’t rush us to leave because eating a boil takes a while. Food was okay, I would’ve loved another flavoring in my boil but they only had 1 of the flavors on their menu available. They also didn’t have oysters because they couldn’t “find the quality they like to serve.” A lot of the mussels (that you have to order separately) didn’t have meat in them. I don’t know that I would come here again, I enjoyed my boil at JuicyCrab more although it’s farther away from home, but if you want a quick fix on a boil and live close by this area this is your place! I did love the hand wash station that was located in the dining area, it was nice not to have to wash your hands in a bathroom.

The name says it all. Crab is there specialty. They do have a few other items to choose from like wings, and crawfish. The wings were good and the sweet potato waffle fries were delicious. The crab, their specialty, was cooked perfect but I wouldnt recomment the garlic butter. It had no flavor. Expect and open seated atmosphere with market priced food. There is a lit menu board as you walk in so you can see the menu before you are seated. We would have liked the waiter to attend to the table better. Or, if you order crab, get it with cajun seasoning instead of waiting for salt and pepper.

Quality of the food was great, but there should be no reason anyone is paying a 6 dollar gratitude fee when you’re doing a to go order. Not only that but the fact that my bag had a hole in it right after picking it up and it getting crab juice every where in my car just shows that nobody should even pay that fee.. At first we thought they were take out only bcuz they have the wooden frame for taking carry out orders at the front but then we saw a group walk in so we were sure to go.
Everything tasted great! Really fresh, only deducted one star because one of my husbands wings was cold… Like possibly raw? He freaked out a bit but tried another wing and the rest were good.
He got sweet and tangy sauce and highly recommended it
I got fish and shrimp basket and it was so so so fresh. Hush pups were HUGE, definitely try everything with the tartar sauce it was amazing

Food isn’t that good to continue to be disrespected with a ‘forced’ gratuity for a damn pickup order! Like why am I being ‘required’ to pay gratuity when I had to get in my damn car, drive to the establishment, pay for my order and leave? Seriously! Then they want to play the ‘outdated’ price-list game when I tried to order eggs which they now say are over $1 more than the price shown on the menu! NOPE! Not I! You’ve gotten my coins for the LAST time!
Amazing how this place is still open with their shady business practices but seafood isn’t plentiful in that part of town so they are benefiting from the location and that is the ONLY saving grace for this place.
Do yourself a favor and find another spot like I will. There’s plenty of them throughout JAX where the food is much better and the price is what is shown on their menu, and website. No bait and switch!

Our waitress Dani was nice and attentive. The seafood boil was good and plentiful. I also got fried shrimps. The shrimps were kinda small, but the flavor was on point. Drinks were good also. Thanks.
