Delicious sandwiches, fresh and well packaged to go. The bread is outstanding!! Grabbed a chopped cheese and John’s beef with excellent homemade brown gravy. The owner, John, was very welcoming and explained the history behind the sandwich choices – sandwiches from Brooklyn, Philly and the Midwest. Fantastic idea, as one could go down the menu and try a new sandwich at each visit!
We took ours to go, but there are stools and counter by the windows to eat there. Pricey, but the sandwiches are large and generously stuffed.

Just stopped in today. Great chicken cheesesteak. You can tell the chicken is actually cooked and cut here rather than heating up frozen shredded chicken in a bag. The caramelized onions really bring the sandwich together.

Nice concept– I like that they focus on regional specialties here, like Brooklyn, Philly, Chicago staples, etc. My partner & I went with the Yo Adrian & The Southy. We were happy with both of them. I especially liked the bread– they use decent, hearty hoagie rolls here. I’m a Philly ex-pat & thought these were worthy sandwiches. Was it the best roast pork & broccoli rabe sandwich I ever had? No, but it’s a very worthy offering for Monmouth County! We’ll be back!

The food here is great and everything is made in the store fresh. The atmosphere is fantastic, the place is always VERY clean and well put together and the selection of drinks is great. The staff is very friendly and informative, I would suggest this place to anyone looking for good deli style subs or one of if not THE best Chicken Parm sandwiches in the area.

I ordered from Big City Sandwiches and had a pretty good experience overall. The chopped cheese was flavorful and satisfying—the bread was some of the best I’ve ever had in my life. It tied the whole sandwich together. It was on the pricier side, but definitely worth it. I did remove the tomato since it didn’t look very fresh, but that didn’t take away from the overall taste.
The Garlic Parmesan wings were delicious—crispy, savory, and had a nice balance of sweet with a slight kick of spice. The rice was a bit different—sweet and a little unexpected—but the portion size was generous. For $44 with delivery, it felt like a fair value. Only suggestion: please include a spoon next time for the rice. Overall, a tasty meal with a few small tweaks that could make it even better.

Horrible, do not come here. $16 for half of a sub, barely any meat on it with horrible bread worse then wawa. The bread was mushy too. The girl at the register did not know what prosuitto was… false advertising very disappointing. She also added a $5 tip on her end even though I clicked no tip. $35 for 2 Soggy half sandwiches!! Do not go!!

We ordered a Cap-Bri and I had a John’s beef. My friend said the Cap-Bri was excellent! I absolutely loved the roast beef sandwich with fresh mozzarella on a delicious sesame seed roll with beef gravy on the side that you can dip your sandwich into. Big portions! And ALL of it is made in house; they cooked the roast beef, homemade fresh mozzarella, they make their own rolls and you can absolutely tell that this is homemade beef gravy from drippings. Everything was delicious and I can’t wait to go back to try something else!

This place was absolutely fabulous! By far the best sandwiches around! The food was all so fresh and the bread was amazing (chef’s kiss) My kids loved the mac n cheese and hot cheetoh fries. Everything was delicious and the service was top tier! The place was so clean and everyone was so friendly and warm! Love it!

Have been to Big City Sandwiches a few times now. Each time has been awesome! Quick, friendly service and absolutely delicious food! Today I tried the Cap Bri Rudy Gabagool and Zach’s Brooklyn Buffalo – YUMMY! They have top quality meats and cheese and give you plenty of it! You can’t go wrong with whatever you order!
