Normally do take out but the atmosphere is very casual and family oriented when you walk in. Always greeted with a smile. Food is delicious. My favorites if I’m being one big boy. I go for the big braddah loco moco over easy with substitute fried rice. Straight kanak attack! Another good one is the hamburger steak with grill onions and gravy another one of my favorites.

Went with my mom. Ordered the chicken cutlets with mushroom sauce. Good portion size, rice and excellent tossed salad. Friendly waitress, excellent service. Paz was outstanding.

The food is going to vary depending on what you order. I have had multiple things and they are all pretty good, but I can honestly say I doubt I ever get a burger again. The steak and shrimp was really good. The steak cooked at the right temp that I ordered, so that’s def a plus! Good atmosphere and great service. I ordered to go and the server that took my order was new. She was super nice and extremely helpful. While waiting on my food I have three different servers ask if I needed anything. I would def recommend this place.

This one is for the memory lane. An old fashion American diner with a Hawaiian twist. Besides the old favorites, it served kimchi fried rice, kalbi, loco moco, among other familiar Hawaiian fares. I opted for the meatloaf with fries, and it tasted fine. The wife had a salmon sandwich and that was okay as well. The serving size was just about right for us and the prices were reasonable.

One of the longest, best standing restaurants on island that have been around for YEARS! and every time still yet when we go, they never fail to deliver the best dishes and the best customer service that they can provide along with some of the oldest recipes that have been around for a long time that most locals enjoy to this day. The food was pretty good, there’s a standard diner atmosphere and the service was really good. I should’ve ordered the small rack and something different, many dishes I still want to try. The Kalbi was really Ono. Huge parking lot and plenty of tables.

Friendly staff with great service for breakfast. We had the French toast breakfast sandwich, fried rice with a side of coconut Mac pancakes. Everything tasted great.

Havent been here since Covid shut down everything, now that Outback also closed down in Waipio it was either here or Chilis in Waikele to watch the baseball playoff game.
Limited hours nowdays so maybe thats why I dont visit as often as I used to, but decided to come here for a late lunch. Restaurant was busy for a midweek, with lots of older people here enjoying their meal talking story.
Met my friend for lunch here and asked the waitress when I got seated if they could change it to the game since it wasnt playing and they did which was a plus Dont think anyone else was watching the tvs anyway
Ordered the salmon and NY steak combo since wanted a good hearty meal since I didnt eat all day and my friend had the Loco Moco. Food never disappoints here, always a big and hearty meal. Ordered a medium steak but it was more on the medium well side but it was fine.
Staff looked shorthanded so had to flag them down when wanting a refill on drinks, but as expected nowdays everywhere on island due to staffing shortages.
Wish they closed later since they close at 8pm but I guess now they cater more on breakfast and lunch. 4 stars
