JOSEPHINE LOCAL
Big City Bites Bistro is located inside the Bank Food Hall. Formerly a food truck, they’ve now focused on this brick-and-mortar location—and it shows. We had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Michael, who takes great pride in his food and his establishment.
My son tried the Cajun Shrimp Po’ Boy and loved it! He opted for a side salad with citrus balsamic dressing instead of chips, which was a great choice.
We definitely highly recommend checking them out!

BCBB hits the mark on cuban sandwiches. Price is good and the flavor is definitely present with the pork. My only request is a little msg to make that flavor pop. But other than that, the food is awesome and the staff of the food truck and the food hall are super kind. I can’t rate the atmosphere as it was outside of their control.

Best Cuban Sandwich in the area. Service was fast. Staff are extremely friendly. The venue is shared by a few different food businesses, so you have the opportunity to try several different things Will eat here again when I return. When I see negative comments, my question is why didn’t you ask for something else or have the food redone? Pretty sure the restaurant would accomodate any issue. The folks were top notch.

Attempted this place based on the positive reviews, but this was a mistake. They are serving frozen pieces part chicken nugget patties for their chicken sandwiches, and they are disgusting. Extremely rude staff. I wouldn’t expect a $15 chicken sandwich in kannapolis NC to be such poor quality.

Extremely dissatisfied with my mushroom Swiss burger. If you are going to charge $17 for a dang burger it better be a knockout burger. This burger was a 2/10. The burger was as hard as a rock and bone dry. It’s like the cooked it extra. I will not be coming back here for a burger until their prices reflect the quality of burgers they’re serving. This was a $8 burger at best with some spiral cut, half cooked potatoes.
***Ive had a good burger from here but this most recent one was so bad I decided to write a review…***

Pleasantly surprised by the quality! My partner and I stopped in for something light to grab. The Cole slaw is made in house, the wrap was good, the Cuban satisfying, and the sauces appeared to be made in house too!

This place is something special—family-owned, made with care, and always welcoming. Every meal is made fresh to order, and the portions are more than generous. You can truly taste the love in every bite, whether you go with the flavorful Cuban or the one-of-a-kind Pho Boy. The food, the service, the atmosphere—it all makes you feel right at home. If you haven’t been yet, you’re missing out on a local treasure.

This is our favorite spot in Kannapolis, not just the food hall. The portions are always incredible and there is a ton of flavor. Every time we’ve had the swirls they’re super crispy and we’ve had them a ton of times with each of the sauces. I love the mango habanero. What’s even better are the owners are super friendly and involved in their business.

My husband and I always take friends to the bank food hall when they are in town and Big City is now a favorite of all our out of state friends too(: give great portions, great quality and amazing tasting food. The owner is also the greatest guy and always there! He probably has my husbands order memorized by now lol.
