I was in Shelton for a home inspection and stopped at Big Bubba’s serendipitously. I ordered the fish sandwich, small fries and a Sprite and it tasted like heaven. I asked for a jalapeño and it added a nice charcoal flavor without adding unbearable heat. The buns were nice and fluffy and it came in a nice foil wrap that made it easy to eat in my car since it was raining cats and dogs outside and they offer outdoor seating. I regret not ordering a milkshake but will definitely be back hopefully on a sunny day to eat on their picnic benches.

We passed Big Bubba’s Burgers on our way to the railroad and went back after and sooooo happy we did.
The staff were really nice and helpful and prices were good. CASH ONLY though!
The burgers were super juicy and flavorful and the corn dog was up to carnival standards. Their special sauce is amazing and their French fries were seriously so good (you’ll definitely want a large).

It was ok, but I was disappointed for the price and hype. Over $40 for two cheeseburgers, two fries, a shake and a soda. Plus people working the counter seemed like they couldn’t care less about having customers. Maybe they are somehow popular enough for that, but I don’t get it from this experience. The burger was a basic unseasoned patty, a thin slice of American cheese, shredded lettuce, a slice of tomato and a bit of burger sauce. The fries were probably the highlight as they were thick cut, a good portion, cooked well and seasoned. The shake was suppose to be butterscotch, but the flavoring was so light/weak it basically tasted like vanilla. Too bad, I was hoping it could be a fun tradition for when we visit family in the area.

Cold soggy burgers and warm onions rings. Thin dry patty. Don’t know how they can be in business. We threw this much of our burgers away. They were inedible.

For such a small establishment, it does have remarkable food. The giant 18 dollar burger was incredible. The fish and chips should have had more fish for the price. But these were very tasty as well. There are some shaded picnic tables to sit and not too many parking spots. Overall it was a favorable experience. I recommend it to everyone.

They us through the window for several minutes before taking our order. We ordered a cheese burger and bacon burger combos. Price came to 41.50. Worst money ever spent. Burger were dry and unseasoned, no sauce that they claimed to have on them. Soggy fries. If you end up driving by this place, just keep driving and dont look back.

Second time there on the usual route. If food is burnt, don’t serve it. Otherwise, don’t serve something you can’t eat. Over $6 for burnt onion/. Fries for reference

I’m going to start off by saying I love burgers it’s an American staple and I’ve been to 100’s of different burgers joints across the country now that’s out of the way this place was severely disappointing not only was the counter person slightly rude even though it really wasn’t busy at all but the burgers were extremely disappointing for the price (8.49) they had no char to speak of, no flavor the bacon had more flavor on the burger than the actual patty, the bun if you didn’t eat it in 5 minutes it would fall apart on you. The fries (3.69) tasted frozen and bland. So far this place is on my do not recommend spots here on the western side of Washington.

We drove far out of our way on a day trip to Seattle to experience what was billed as the best burger in Washington.
Can I say it was the best burger in Washington that I’ve ever had? No. Was it definitely better than most burgers that I’ve had in Washington? Yes. Did it absolutely destroy any possible drive-through burger that you could get anywhere? 100%
I’d say that it is solidly on par with any drive-in style burger joint you can find up and down Oregon and Washington. Mike’s Drive-In in Portland. Dandy’s Drive-In in Bend. Etc.
It is worth trying, and the drive is quiet, and scenic, so it’s not a stretch to make the trip as your return leg from a day trip to Seattle from Portland. Definitely would recommend.

Have been there twice before & it was good, but went the other day, and it was not good, and it was way more expensive! We got the”special” burger… white cheddar cheese & carmalized onions. Couldn’t taste either, there was so little of it & it was more than $12!!!!! The shakes are great, but that’s it! We spent almost $50 (including tip) for lunch & she wouldn’t even give my husband a tartar!! Also, cash only now! Not great business!! Won’t go there again!!
