I don’t like the fact that you can’t dine in. It a pick up and go area but very clean nice vibes. Now let’s get to the food wow 4.7 out of 5. The Mac sn cheese omg great this is what the game missing. The collards are perfect. Potato salad I need more eggs and more potatoes 3.2 on that. The pulled pork I wish more charred but cooked the perfection. The cake soft smooth fresh 10/10. Hash sn rice perfect I love it. It a little pricey very heavy plates enough food for 2-3 ppl. For two plates with drinks it worth it I posted the a picture of the price.

I got this smoked gumbo over rice earlier that came with 2 sides and this is true home cooked food. I could tell when I had it and one other time I been here I think under 4 years ago and it was good then too. I recall their ribs being great with decent amount of smoke.
I see some say it’s gone downhill, or the food is cold. Nope. This is all fresh homemade food and I think it’s the best takeout and possibly best BBQ in the whole city. Docs is 2nd to this. And ya others might be good but they’re harder to order from so considering all this and they have things like smoked gumbo and other different things on the menu. Where else can you get that stuff ? Not many that I’ve seen. Some buffets had gumbo but none were as good as Big Boys. Baked beans were very good too and I’m not a fan of all baked beans but these were meaty. Mac and cheese was very homemade with right amounts of butter and cheese.
Service is fast, highly recommend.

Drove 2 hrs to partake of the smoke pig feet, and they did not disappoint. Nor did the lemon pepper turkey wings, gumbo, collard greens, green beans, basically everything was good! And the prices and serving size were even better! Don’t know how they able to do it but that was a very welcomed change. Because what we purchased would have been tripled in cost in my area, and definitely not as good!

The food was good being it was my first time there. The chicken and brisket I loved the flavor and potatoe salad was good. The customer service needs work. I watched the lady ask the man about how much longer the food and he said what’s your name and she said her name and he said no that’s not you just wait. Really customer service goes a long way. I asked what was premium sides and the cashier just look at me . I will come back for the food but customer service needs work

Definitely recommend the food everything was delicious. I ordered Brisket and Chicken with Mac and cheese, potato salad and shrimp and chicken gumbo over rice. The only complaint was the potato salad didn’t have more solid potatoes more mushy but the flavor was there. Also deserts were sold out already really wanted to try red velvet cake. Overall definitely recommend

This is the worst plate I’ve ever had from big boys. The plate is sloppy, the food is ice cold!! Why not put the coldslaw on the top of plate? You can tell they don’t care about food presentation.The pull pork is cold. I’m very upset about this. Why give me a plate of cold food? I’ll stop going to big boys a long time ago. I should have went elsewhere. This is not acceptable! Only reason I went is because I work nearby on Wednesday!! I was robbed.

. This is really a pickup and go joint. BUT that food hit. The ribs were good the sauce was good.the collards were good Everything hit the spot when it came to the food except the hash…it was drenched in so much sauce you could not taste the rice or hash. We got two desserts and they were delicious. We definitely will be back!! PS DO NOT ASK THEM FOR TURKEY WINGS…cause they ain’t got them!!
