I’m a big fan of street tacos, especially birria tacos, but only when they’re done right. Unfortunately, my visit to Big Boy Tacos fell short of expectations. While the tacos were well-prepared, they lacked the robust flavor and seasoning I was hoping for. The birria sauce was bland and watery, missing that deep red color and richness typical of authentic birria.
The beef itself was tender, and the fresh onions and cilantro added a nice touch. However, the tacos were under-cheesed, and without the right amount of cheese, they felt incomplete. The overall experience was underwhelming due to the lack of seasoning in both the birria and the tacos. With just a bit more attention to flavor and authenticity, these tacos could truly stand out.

Been trying to make it here for a minute. Absolutely love the tender beef and the consume. Fast service. Friendly. Fair prices. I wish the brick and mortar had seating to eat there. However, even taking it home it was just as good and hot. I’ll definitely go back. My #1 go to spot. Best Birria Tacos!
