When I was young, we used eat at Big Boy quite often. But now I see why they are closing. When we went to this particular Big Boy, there was only one other table of customers, although another group came in. Anyway, I had to let them know twice I was ready to order and then everytime we needed something, we had to let them know. We were eventually waiting for our deserts, and our server decided to mop the floor instead of making them. When we finally got them, they looked like they were literally thrown together, what a mess. We spent 1 1/2 hours in there just to eat dinner. Just a shame.

Even though they were shorthanded service was prompt and courteous. I eat at other Bog Boy restaurants down state and the food here was definitely of better quality. We got the sample platter and seafood buffet and everything was absolutely amazing. If ever in TC again we will definitely be back.

It was just my 5 year old and I, and we waited 9 minutes to be seated. This was during breakfast hours, with only 6 other people in the restaurant… The staff kept looking at us standing there as they kept carrying on a conversation about after work topics. One of them finally grabbed menus, and led us to our seats. Then he tossed the menus on the table, and walked away. No greeting, didn’t ask us what we wanted to start with, no communication. The first thing I ordered, they were out of. The second thing, out of… I was nice in person, and still left a tip. But, this will be our last time coming here.

Don’t waste your money! Don’t believe any positive reviews. The waitress told another customer that the general manager wasn’t paying the bills and that’s why they didn’t have some items. I went to this location because the other ones near this one had worse reviews. I’m disappointed and feel completely ripped off!
We walked in on a Sunday afternoon. First time ever visiting a Big Boy. The waitress couldn’t have been less thrilled. She acted like she was stuck in math class and just waiting for school to let out. She took our order. The only positive with a big downside was the food came out in about 15 minutes. The downside was it was slightly warm, thrown together, order was messed up but we still ate the crap!
The waitress only filled one of our drinks. Never filled any other drinks. Not once did she ask us if we wanted desserts. Just completely zoned out and uninterested in doing her job. It truly was a bad experience.
The food for what you get is insanely expensive. Overall horrible experience. It’s proof they will hire anyone to work and they don’t care. We still left a tip but the waitress needed a hand written tip on how to properly do her job. It’s unreal these places keep charging more but everything is going down hill.
Skip it at all costs! Eat somewhere else or local!

First time to ANY Big Boy, which is why I stopped in. Hostess was rude and showed uncalled for attitude when, after standing at the ‘wait to be seated sign- without being noticed, helped or otherwise directed as to where to go or what to do…. I asked: “Do I wait here like the sign says, or seat myself”? I really didn’t know.
Sat down and had to wait long enough, waitresses were asking me why no one had taken my order yet. I said, “I don’t know, but I can move to one of tour tables if you like”. She helped me instead, for which was grateful.
I had the Best Cheeseburger in the World. And yes, that’s what it’s called. It really was quite nice. And the ranch dressing on the side salad was absolutely TO DIE FOR! Best I’ve ever had.
Food great. Service by my server was awesome. The teenage hostess? Yeah, no thank you. Teenager or not, no excuse to be rude when a legitimate question is asked, apparently because the young lady wasn’t doing her job at all.

I had a very relaxing dinner with my Son.
He got the Scary Burger and the Apple / Carmel Shake and I got the Double Big Boy, their 4 patty burger.
We were both happy with the meal.

Visiting MI and told the fiance we had to go to Big Boy! It did not disappoint and he is now a fan. He said gravy on his chicken fried steak was the best he’s ever had, Loved my malted waffle, it was as great as I remember. Waitress was attentive and very nice. Always been a fan, still am!

After going to Chili’s and having a horrible experience with the manager about seating I had decided to leave because the situation became futile and was no longer repairable my friend and I left and went driving around looking for a place to eat we came across a big boy good old big boy we were we were seated and asked what we would like to drink we ordered our drinks and receive them then we ordered our food my friend ordered a breakfast then I ordered chicken parmesan my friend’s order was made and mine was not the waitress asked me if I wanted to wait longer that the cooks did not drop the food I said yes I still would like to eat my food was served it had big black burnt Globs of crud on it three of them I asked her why this was on my plate she said I’m sorry that is gross would you like a new dinner I said no I will remove them and and eat the meal It was a disappointed that these burnt globes got past the cooks and the wait staff my salad was very good apple cider vinaigrette was very good and our waitress was very nice the cook did a lousy job
