Between busy times I was greeted by Jessica whose energy was uplifting and welcoming. I usually order a Slim Jim sandwich but was tempted, by the menu, to buy the Buffalo Ranch Fried Chicken Sandwich, which was delicious. A message with my daughter encouraged me to add the classic Strawberry Pie. Great lunch.

Had been served burnt hashbrowns they replaced after we told waiter. Then had to ask for a refill of our drinks. Over all atmosphere is nice.

Took my mother here twice in a row. And both times the meal was very underwhelming. Their breakfast was very dry. Hash browns way over cooked and too crunchy. Bacon over cooked and too crunchy.

I usually pass on big boys after previous experiences. This big boy was exceptionally clean, the buffet was hot and fresh and very well stocked and the wait staff was super friendly. I was able to walk in, sit down, eat and leave with hardly no waiting. I will be back to this restaurant again.

Big Boy continues to uphold the title of Bad Axe’s Staple Diner! I am very thankful that sometime in this past year, the quality of food served at this Big Boy really improved(but prices admittedly have gone up). It is always a joy to come to no matter busy or slow. The wait staff tries their best with what they have.

Slow service. Apparently, short staffed. Hash browns were very crispy. There were a number of older people talking loudly to each other across tables which was distracting. One of the servers had a loud hyena-type laugh.

Burgers were burnt and dry. I got 7 onion rings that were also burnt. My boyfriend got the same thing and his was just as bad. It cost me $50 for two burnt burgers and horrible onion rings. I normally enjoy big boy but won’t be going back anytime soon.

We were craving a Slim Jim. I got the regular & my husband got the the large. Our fries were cold as was my Slim Jim. His sandwich was warm. The service was soso.

Family decided to go for the Easter Sunday Brunch Buffet. There were the usual Great breakfast items, as well as some tasty, traditional foods; along with a full soup and salad area. The restaurant was quite busy, but still VERY friendly, attentive staff, wonderful food, enjoyable atmosphere and reasonable prices!!!. FUN, GREAT time by all our family .

Waited more than 20 minutes to be waited on. Then mother’s day brunch was terrible. Bacon was soggy, hash browns were brown and old, no waffles no fruit, eggs dried out tasted like powdered, couldn’t find anyone that spoke English to help us. Won’t go back again, my 9 year old said mommy you can cook better than this . Quality went way down.
