The first time, I went with a friend. Unfortunately, I slipped and fell on ice in the handicap parking spot. Thankfully, I was okay—just sore from tensing up—but I did notify staff immediately. When we left, the area was still very slippery, and I didn’t notice salt being put down, which was concerning.
The second visit was with my mom. After placing our order, we waited about 45 minutes to be served. During that time, multiple families (a family of five, six, and four) came in after us and received their food before we did. We spoke up about it, and management did address the issue by giving us two coupons for free Big Boy sandwiches only and dessert, which I appreciated.
The third visit was much better. I went with my children and used the free Big Boy sandwich coupons. We also ordered mozzarella sticks, onion rings, and a Slim Jim meal with fries. Everything tasted good, and our total came to just $19.05 for a family of three, which is hard to beat. We all left full and satisfied.
One thing I did notice was that our waitress appeared to have a constant runny nose throughout the night, which was a bit uncomfortable to observe, though service itself was fine.
Overall, the food can be good and affordable, especially with the specials, but consistency with service, wait times, and safety outside definitely needs improvement. I’m hoping future visits continue to improve—because when it’s good, it really is a great value.
