I’ve never had Big boy before , but on a drive home from up north .. I pulled over for Chipotle (next door) at 10:30 and it was closed, so I went next door to Big Boy . To my suprise it was amazing! I ordered the hot chicken sandwich with slaw , one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had! The service was fast , staff was friendly and it was very clean inside as well.

A Bob’s Big Boy just recently opened in my area and I’m so excited. Great memories at !!!!!
I’m not a big fan of the new location and the size of the business. The new Bob’s Big Boy sits in the middle of a strip mall with other small businesses. There seems to be plenty of parking including handicapped ♿️
The second week open and I’m still looking for a parking spot.
Finally and now let’s go in and look around. OMG!
Not a single table is open and the customers are chattering uncontrollably. Mostly I can hear about the food and service of the new business.
While I’m waiting, I just love the open concept and high ceiling and all the stencils and artwork that line the walls. So many colors but what stands out the most is the red decor, even in the bathroom.
My turn to have a seat and I waited about 15 minutes and was seated by the front window.
I haven’t been to a Big Boy’s in about 30 years. I was excited to try the slim Jim as it was my favorite. The wait time for my order was about 20 minutes but not bad considering every table was full. The waitress (Alyssa) was on the move the entire time ensuring every customer was taken care of.
The lunch menu was simple (see photo) and very appealing.
I ordered the Slim Jim and fries came with it. I ordered a second Slim Jim and upgraded with onion rings and an additional cost.
Also, the pretzel bites with cheese and honey mustard sauce. The carbonation choice is Pepsi products. Very fresh and nice flavor.
I will have to say that the presentation of the Slim Jim is a little different than what I remember. The flavor is there but I remember more meat! The ham is so thin but maybe that’s why it’s called a Slim Jim, any thoughts?
The pretzel bites are a favorite and yummy.
The food came out very fresh and temperature-appropriate.

Food was cold and overpriced for terrible quality. The manager claimed to cook everything properly to temperature, but somehow is STILL cold after being unwrapped from the foil wrappers, which were in a paper bag, with both being good for insulation of warm goods? It doesn’t make sense. The manager also seemed to have a chip on his shoulder, and was quite rude over the phone when I called and complained about the cold food. Bad customer service from the manager and poorly cooked food with ridiculous prices. Either check out another Big Boy location or give up. It ain’t like it used to be…

This location is awesome I used to work at big boy 50 years ago and when I tell you it brought back great memories the fish and chips were perfectly seasoned and hot and fresh the big boy was delicious hot fudge cake on point staff was friendly and courteous and helpful I recommend everyone try this location you guy’s are amazing

Gross! The food was so gross and the fact that it was $50 for two burgers loaded fries and two drinks, that’s crazy. The Burger was not done and the loaded fries literally had a very small portion of fries for that price was crazy as well.. I will NEVER, and I mean NEVER purchase at Big Boys again, especially at this location..

Stopped in late. Staff was extremely nice and accommodating especially our waitress but I can’t recall her name. She was a younger girl and I believe her name started with an A, maybe Alicia. She even offered us a drink to go as we were walking out! Food was excellent but more than that it so nice to see employees who truly appreciate their customers. Also, the place was very clean. Will be visiting again!
