The wait staff was great. The manager came to check on us a bit after our food arrived. The manager was very fun to chat with and truly cared. Our food was so perfect. The big boy burger and the classic breakfast. We watched the chef while we were waiting and he made it look so easy. We told the manager how much we enjoyed watching him and how good the food was. He told his the chef is the best and we agree !!

We arrived at 5:30 PM to dine in and didn’t leave until 7:01 PM. When we first came in, there was only one two-top already seated and they had already received their food, so we expected a quick experience. Unfortunately, that was not the case.
We waited about 30 minutes for our sampler and 45 minutes for our burgers, which arrived burnt. During this time, five more tables were seated just minutes after us. Our server was clearly overwhelmed and running nonstop, doing her absolute best to take care of everyone.
What was frustrating to see was another staff member ( bigger women ) standing around and not helping at all while the server struggled. If that person was a manager, that is extremely concerning. I’ve worked in the restaurant industry since I was 16 and I’m now 31—teamwork is essential, especially during a rush, and that was clearly lacking here.
The server herself was wonderful—kind, attentive, and truly trying her best despite the circumstances. The kitchen, however, was extremely slow for no clear reason, and the lack of support from management made the situation worse.
I genuinely hope the owner sees this feedback. That server deserves recognition and support, because she did everything she could in a very difficult situation.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, Everyone! My son was having a hard time while we were waiting on our food (he’s 2), then one of the employees came from the back and changed his whole additude. Our food was hot, correct, and delicious. We’ll be back, for sure!
On a side note, I had a very specific order, that only Big Boy™ could help me with, the store managers were instrumental in getting my order filled. Thanks for all you do!

I googled the reviews for this location before agreeing to come here because Big Boy in general has really fallen off in the last ten years, even pre-Covid when they started shrinking their menu… anyway, I can see why some of the reviews are the way they are – if you’re expecting classic Big Boy experiences, this is NOT that, and never will be. It clearly favours take-out service (weird, but alright), and the retrofitting of the building definitely changes the vibes. (It’s two building suites turned into one, in a ‘plaza’ of a Starbucks that would normally come with a Qdoba and Panda Express (seriously, what is up with that??), except instead of the Qdoba block and Panda Express block, it’s just one Big Boy with a sliding wall between the two blocks inside!). So the vibes were off, architecturally. Womp womp.
The service wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t anything to write home about. Don’t go to be friends with the waitstaff – they’re not mean(!), they’re just there to run your food and run your check. And that’s fine for me (as long as I don’t have to flag you down for drink refills, lol)!
It seemed more like a non-descrip a-little-run-down Coney Island than it did a Big Boy, which was disappointing, but not the worst. I’d still probably go back, but I wish things didn’t cost so much! If the cost reflected everything else about the place, it’d be fine – but I’m definitely paying more than that food is worth, lol.

My niece and I grabbed lunch, and the server and manager, those two awesome plus-size Black queens , were super friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and hot, and we didn’t have to wait long. The only thing was, the floor by the bread near the kitchen entrance was kinda gross, and some buns fell. It’s right there in plain sight, so they should clean it up, but other than that, it was a good experience.

We stopped here on 8/31/24. The staff were amazing. All very friendly and made sure we had a good experience. The food was very good also. I had the spinach and swiss scramble. Enough food we didn’t have to eat again on the remaining 6 hours of our trip. Atmosphere is typical diner style. Thank you to everyone working while we were there.

Came in this morning with my daughter. We were seated and given menus. After watching other non-minority customers being served for 20 plus minutes, my daughter and I left.
The older waitress never took our drink orders either. There were customers that came in after us and were served.

My husband and I stopped for dinner last night. I ordered a burger with a side salad & my husband ordered the fish & chips (with onion rings) My salad came out 1st. Was fresh & crisp!! When the burger came out, it was so picture perfect that I didn’t even want to take a bite out of it! The manager (who also cooked the food) stopped by the table to see how out food looked. My husband told him what I had said – and he stated that he Loved to hear that and that he cooks food that he would like to eat himself. His special ingredient was ‘Love’ and it sure showed!! Fish & chips were great also – with a large portion!!
The only thing this place needs is the infamous salad bar!! But the staff & manager are just top notch!! Well Done!
