The bowls are very big and filling. Great service and delicious broth. You get to customize your choices and they have some other options like deep fried bananas and egg rolls. Next time we will try them.

We were excited to try Big Bowl Noodles to warm up out of the snowy weather. The restaurant is clean and the staff is nice. One of the dishes we got tasted great but was missing one of the toppings we ordered. The other one the creamy Tom yum soup lacked flavor and even after adding chili sauce to it the flavor was mild. We will give this place another chance and hopefully we order items that are all delicious.

This place is not bad, but also nothing special. The build your own bowl idea is cool, but the only vegetarian broth is pho broth, and I’d rather just have pho. The worst part was that all the vegetables were soft, which is very odd for Asian food. Honestly the best dish was the cream cheese wontons, which were very tasty and fresh. (Pink for some reason, but great.) Service was also extremely slow and all the spicy pepper jars were empty. To be fair, it was a really busy day and the lady was there by herself serving, casiering, running food, cleaning tables, etc. Not bad, but definitely below average.

Very nice lady, amazing service and very amazing food. The interior of the building is amazing and the atmosphere is beautiful, I got a big bowl of pork broth with rice noodles with meat and meatballs, extra noodles and cilantro, green onion, bok choy, and bean sprouts. The broth was simply amazing and tasted like one of the best I have before, most definitely recommend it. The noodles were cooked perfectly and the beef and meatballs were both amazing in their own regard. Overall I highly recommend this hole-in-the-wall restaurant.

My friend and our kids were visiting passing by, the other ramen spots were busy so we went here. Seemed decent and quiet. Service was okay. Ordered food for my kiddos and. Tasted good. Had to pay extra for 3 shrimps. Also never got a receipt, but the lady included the tip on my check. I thought that was strange because I usually don’t go out to restaurants unless I am sure I can tip. The lady was nice and was serving us, I do give her that, but to take that decision upon herself to do was the first for me. Also ended up late to my car that was in the parking garage because we waited for her to calculate the amount she would take from me. It made me feel very uncomfortable because I always tips. It took about 10 minutes to even give me my change after she calculated her tip. And had to pay a lot more for being late to my car and getting booted. Maybe check out the other locations that sell ramen and are packed. It was a terrible experience and kinda ruined my night that I was so looking forward to.

Disappointing meal. The bowls are big, but they lack substance. If you build your bowl and choose only one protein, you probably won’t feel full, especially if you have a large appetite. They’re also stingy with the vegetables. The bowl is primarily broth, which was a little sweet, and noodles. Some of us needed to eat a second dinner after leaving this place.

Service was really slow, too. It looked like they didn’t have enough people working.

Was doing some exploring and shopping in downtown Flagstaff when hunger struck! On a whim, we decided to eat at Big Bowl Noodle on San Francisco Street. I am so happy we did because the food was delicious and the portions were huge! The staff there was really friendly and the service was great. They give you a little sheet of paper so you can create your own soup with a broth, noodle type, protein, and veggie choices. They also have a full menu of appetizers and other dishes you can order. And the prices were extremely reasonable. Plenty of gluten free and vegetarian options if needed. What a great spontaneous find for us!

Good noodle soup and I really liked the date tea (sweet but not too sweet, and the to-go cup is pretty and kind of fuzzy? I liked the texture.) I also liked that they added chili oil on the side so you can adjust the spiciness to your liking (didn’t try it though.)

My main issue was that the broth was too salty! Saltiness is largely a matter of individual taste, so if anyone at BBN is reading this, I think it would be awesome to reduce the salt and either have different saltiness levels or give little salt packets so customers can adjust it.

Big Bowl Noodles is a good noodle shop. Many choices available. You can create your own style and add extra portions depending on your appetite. Service is a bit slow during dining hours. Enjoy!
